This is a very clean park. The facilities are some of the best we have seen. Heated in winter, a/c in summer.
The rates are high....although the campground is very well maintained and has excellent bathhouse/facilities and many of them. They don't offer anything...it's all about location. It's JUST a well maintained campground with a game room and a small playground. If you plan to go to Dutch Wonderland this is the place to camp. It's a 5 minute walk from the campground. The staff was friendly this year. We will stay here again...despite the high rates. We camped at Old Mill Stream Campground in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is just off Rt 30. Every store/ restaurant you could ever want is off route 30. We don't go out on RT 3o....we met other campers that were excited to see and try the restaurants/shopping options.
An amish man/wife some through on Sat. mornings with fresh baked goods. Delicious treat.

We hosted a small TAB rally here around the Easter holiday. Campground was full but quiet. Girls at front desk were friendly and helpful. Ideal location for seeing the island. Best way is by bicycle. Not far from St.Simon's or Cumberland Island. The camp host was very friendly and accommodating. Two nice community rooms for gatherings. One brand new one is large and very nice. Bathrooms are older but they are kept clean. Updates with vents and a/c would be nice. Water pressure varied.
Great little bird sanctuary at the campground, pretty and well maintained. I would stay here again. Seems like a fun place to spend some of the winter months. We will be back someday. The campground manager is helpful and friendly. Pretty trees and Spanish moss through out the campground. We camped at Jekyll Island Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Eat at Driftwood Bstro. Try shrimp and grits. All desserts are delicious! Driftwood Beach very pretty spot. Eat at Southern Soul on St. Simon's. Go for prime rib on Friday. Get the "generous cut" dinner. Delicious! Go early. They run out. Great biking on Jekyll Island!

This is a fabulous park! We have stayed here with/without our grandson numerous times and we have also held a rally here. It's near the stream. If you are going to Dutch Wonderland , the location can't get any better. You can walk to the park from the campground. There is a playground and game room for kids. There is a new pavilion/group meeting area. The staff is friendly. They staff comes around to pick up trash so no ugly over flowing dumpsters. The bathrooms are the best we have ever seen. Clean! All campgrounds should model their bathrooms after the ones at Old Mill Stream. Clean, new, heat and a/c. If you need things to do outside the campground there are plenty of restaurants, lots of shopping, Hershey Park isn't far. The Amish Village is a nice stop. We camped here this summer and we are looking forward to coming back in the fall. We have sent many campers here, from small travel trailers to the larger Air Streams, everyone has told us they loved this campground. Friends from Alabama have stayed at least twice when coming to this area.
This is a clean campground in a great location if you want to be near lots of activities. If you are looking for a secluded campground this is probably not for you.
We would highly recommend this campground. We camped at Old Mill Stream Campground in a Travel Trailer.
The Amish horse and buggy comes through on Saturday mornings with fresh baked goods. Nice treat.

The sites are pretty good size. There isn't much to do in the area. I would not say the rest rooms are dirty but I wouldn't say they are clean. They are somewhere in between but I didn't have that option. The playground equipment is the older metal style. We tried to swim in the pool but there were some type of bees that had built nests in the cracks of the concrete. The woman in the office is not very friendly. We will not stay here again. We camped at Holiday Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
