This campground is in transition. The new manager is great to work with! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sites are being slowly improved. Weekend breakfast are cheap and good. The pool was warm which we appreciated because most of the Thousand Trails pools are too cold. We will definitely return.

Rate reflects RPI with extra for electricity charge. The pull throughs are reserved for KM members which I can appreciate. We were given a back-in site that had no chance for satellite reception so I asked to relocate. We were reassigned a site on the hill that backed up to a great view of the park with just grass behind us and although without 4x4 it may have been a problem in the rain, it was perfect for us! Very nice site. Park was clean and staff was very friendly. Would stay again when staying near Spokane.

From prior reviews I was expecting a bad park. It turned out much better than I had expected! We opted for a 50 amp site and I can say that it is good 50 amp. The site next to us is on a corner. In the not so busy (hot) months they try not to use it in order to make it easier for the big rigs to negotiate the corner. This essentially gives me 2 site width out my door to the corner. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to this park.

We paid the weekly rate. It was a bargain for a good park. It is terraced and we were concerned about getting into the pull through site, but it turned out to be no problem. Electricity and water was good as was the Wi-Fi. It turned out to be a good location for the 10 days we were in Amarillo. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. In fact, the GPS was getting us there a weird way and host stayed on the phone with me and talked me in! Once the host saw me on the highway we were good to go! :) We will return!

We stayed at the weekly PA rate. We were put in the back of the park which was good because not so much road noise. Even though there were a lot of open sites, they kept grouping everyone together. Not sure why, seems like you could go every other site to give room. People don't know how not to infringe on others space! Other than that the water and electric was good. Sewer was too high off the ground. It is a good value with PA and I will return.

Based upon other reviews of this park I was expecting the worse so maybe my review might be generous because of it. We were pleasantly surprised that although we would Never stay at the motel the RV park was actually very nice. FHU all worked well. We will stay here again when visiting Las Cruces!

Level gravel sites with grass between sites. Many of the the tenants are long term oil field workers but have decent rigs. We had a problem at check-in that we had changed our dates and they had made a mistake on when we were coming in. They were totally booked, but realizing the mistake called someone on the road and had to ask them to find another campground. They were nice enough to oblige and were not upset. The Wi-Fi was good as was the electricity and water. We enjoyed City Market BBQ and also went into Lockhart from here and had Kreutz and Smitty's as well! We will return to River Bend if we are in the area.

There should be more campsites like this along the interstates! This is a very basic overnighter that with the Passport-America rate was only $12.00. It was not attractive and if it was a destination place I would give it a 1 or 1.5 but since we just wanted a safe place to stay overnight along this very long interstate 10 stretch with good hookups for cheap this place fits the bill with a strong 5 rating, it is good for what is is! We didn't even need to unhook the truck from the 5th wheel. As a side note, the truck stop which you can walk to had a GREAT chicken fried steak at a very good price.

Very basic dirt sites. The sites are very long so we were able to keep hooked up to the 5th wheel overnight. I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi, but never able to actually get online, but I was able to tether on my AT&T phone. This is a good overnight stay for a reasonable price on the very long Interstate 10 through Texas! Just look for the big arrows stuck in the ground.

The price is based upon the 4 week rate. This is a very nice park in Santa Paula. Cable TV and Wi-Fi is included in price. The two managers are the nicest and most accommodating I have met! They maintain the park everyday, so the park is immaculate. No pool, but there is a large hot tub available only to the RV park. There is a mobile home park behind the RV park. Best deal in Ventura County. I will return whenever I visit family here.

After reading others reviews about this campground I was concerned about staying a week here. To my surprise it is a lovely park. I came in on RPI and it does list the $4.00 electric charge. Now although I do think that is too much I came in knowing it, so it was not a surprise. WiFi was spotty but I was given a free trial for 24 hours and it did allow me to communicate including writing my blog. I chose to re-up for the whole week and he was nice enough to give me a deal because the WiFi needed work. Power was good, but water pressure did go down in the mornings during "shower" time. This is a good park and considering the looks of other parks near by, a real gem!

This is the first Thousand Trails I would truly call a resort destination campground. The manager understands hospitality. All other TT managers should go through an internship here! The inside pool is always warm and the staff actually enforces the adult hours. This manager is a trained chef and prepares all breakfast meals. Do yourself a favor and have at least one meal here. I NEVER eat at TT because usually they are not so good, but this is better then the local restaurants at a better price. The sites are groomed and speeds are enforced. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. WiFi is also very fast. We stayed on the North side. We will absolutely return!

OK, I don't get it. Since I live in Ventura I have passed the Parkway a gazillion times and have always wondered why people "camp" here. Now I sit in my 5th typing this review. Yes, it has an awesome view, and this weekend it has been sunny and clear! But: you are still PARKED next to a highway, freeway, and train tracks. You are packed in like sardines, and if you are not careful, could be trapped by others. I had people walk in my site and hang around for awhile instead of walking on the road side, or on the beach. And of course, if it's not bolted down, kiss it goodbye! OK, I'll be generous because of the view and award it a 5!

The price reflects the PA discount. The hosts were very accommodating, escorting us to our pull through site. Long and wide enough for both slide outs. Power was good. Nice indoor pool. Free donuts were real donut shop big ones, not cheap Costco stuff. Not much to say, other then for PA price this is a bargain! Will stay again when coming through Amarillo!

It is on the edge of the parking lot of the casino, but in our 5th wheel that means you are looking out at a field, so that is OK. FREE 50 amp, free hookups. The water and sewer are down in a "manhole", so I just filled up and used my pump. I emptied my gray only when I left, but I could have left it hooked up. The 50 amp was spot on! Oh, did I mention it was FREE, as are the soda's and coffee and tea (including sweet tea) that are self serve in the casino. We are small gamblers, but the wife and I won $106.00, got free soft drinks, and did I mention the camp site was FREE!
