Fort Pierre Motel, Fort Pierre, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The motel doesn't list it on their web site but they have 6 FHU sites. All are divided by a small fence and are a good size. The sites are level and in a good location in town. The parking lot is huge so plenty of space to back in. The owners/managers of the motel are very nice.

The entrance is on Highway 83 so if your GPS tells you to turn onto a side street, like ours did, it's wrong and don't do it. We camped at Fort Pierre Motel in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in a very good location but nothing special. We have a 40' motorhome and were parked along with other big rigs in a row that sloped to the front quite a bit so bring blocks for your tires. Sites are very close together. They have a mini golf course but it was very small and not in good shape at all so we never even used it. The best part of our stay was the almost 50% discount on tickets for the Buffalo Ridge theater. The 4 shows there were great. We camped at Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Musicland Kampground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent and it's right around the corner from the main street. We asked the staff to get many show tickets for us and they were always very friendly and helpful. Our site was in a section labeled 'satellite friendly' which was really nice because there are a lot of trees there. We did our laundry here and the washers and dryers were very cheap. The only negative about the park is the pool table. It's located in the laundry room but costs 75 cents. We've never had to pay to use a pool table in an RV park before and there was a huge tear on the table; it looked to be deliberate. After putting in the money we only got 1/2 the balls so called the office to get our money back. We camped at Musicland Kampground in a Motorhome.

Trails RV Park, Walker, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay here. They have some pull-throughs and a LOT of space in between sites. We didn't use the restrooms, showers or laundry but the grounds are very well maintained. Our site was level with gravel and our Verizon signal was good. We checked their Wifi signal and it was the best we've ever seen at a campground. As we were getting ready to leave we discovered one of our coach's tires was low and they had a heavy-duty compressor which they let us use. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We camped at Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camp Lutherwood, Long Valley Junction, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflects a PA discount and having a 'good attitude'. The campground is small and the sites are pull-throughs and mostly level, grass and spacious. It's very quiet and the campground hosts, Karen and Carl, are extremely nice and accommodating. The only negative aspect is the 2 mile dirt/gravel road leading into the park but is certainly not a reason not to stay here. Our toad was completely covered with dust but we were allowed to wash both vehicles. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it twice. We camped at Camp Lutherwood in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate was the average for a month stay and is not including electricity or city tax. This is a very nice park with a guard shack at the entrance for added security. Office personnel are very friendly. The only drawback to the park is the location which is not the nicest area of Vegas. There is a very nice clubhouse, heated hot tub and pool. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Elmore RV Park, Charlotte, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Our price reflects a weekly rate. The park has no services other than a full hookup, however the location is really good. It's in the middle of Charlotte and close to museums and downtown. It's located behind Phil Jackson's Auto Sales. Most of the park consists of long-term tenants but there are some sites reserved for short-term renters. If you only need a convenient place to stay and are self-contained this is adequate. The manager is really nice. The sites are level. We camped at Elmore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The price reflects a monthly rate and was very reasonable. The park is maintained very well and the pool was really nice. Sites were very large and spacious and level. We did have to buy extra sewer hose because the hole was so far forward. The employees were really nice and helpful with any questions I had. We would definitely return here again. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Orchid Lake RV Resort (55+ park), New Port Richey, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is not too far from Hudson Beach and is in a good location for restaurants and other services. It is an older park but the sites are level and fairly spacious and many separated by palm trees which is nice. There are a lot of park models here but they are well maintained and everyone was extremely friendly. When we were here the activities had ended for the winter season but I saw a list for the month before and it was filled with activities and things to do. We would definitely come back just because our neighbors were so nice and because of the location. We camped at Orchid Lake RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed four nights and the price includes tax. They offer the option of buying sites and everything is well-maintained. Water's Edge Motor Coach & RV Resort, Okeechobee, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The rate we paid is an average of a monthly rate and our electricity for a premium site. This is a beautiful park and I would be happy to stay again. It's very well maintained and the sites are big and brick-paved, with bushes and a few palm trees between for added privacy. The resort is next to a canal and is great for anyone with a boat. There is a huge tiki hut next to the water and it's a great social place where people fish, read or just congregate. There is a nice pool and lounging area but no showers available. Water's Edge is a small resort so people can get a chance to know each other. The only drawback is the lack of laundry facilities and the resort is 10 miles from stores and restaurants but that could be a bonus for some people. We camped at Water's Edge Motor Coach & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Whispering Palms RV Resort (55+ park), Sebastian, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a month and would certainly stay again. The park is huge and is mostly mobile homes and park models but they are well-maintained and the people are very friendly. The streets are all paved and level. Our site was around the little lake and there was a nice breeze every day. The only drawback is the location of the park. It is right next to a main road so there is a lot of traffic noise if you are at the front and there is a train if you are situated at the back. However, the location itself is very good with the beach and restaurants close by. We camped at Whispering Palms RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Crystal Isles Resort, Crystal River, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The price is averaged from our month stay. The park is OK, with fairly level cement and gravel sites. Wi-Fi is available but is not free. We were on the side next to a small canal with a tiny private dock so if you have a boat you might like it better but the canal faces houses so is not very pretty. Our site fit our 40' motorhome just fine but many of the sites wouldn't work for that size. There is a large dock in the park with a fish-cleaning station that can smell really bad and a lot of vultures hang out to feast. There are many lots that people pay to keep year-round and when the couple next to us arrived the guy actually yelled at us for having our sewer hose on the ground next to our coach because he said he paid for everything past our cement pad. People just did not seem friendly at all. We camped at Crystal Isles Resort in a Motorhome.
