Val Vista RV Park (55+ park), Casa Grande, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Contrary to a previous review there are only about 40% Park Models in the park. RVers are spread out among the existsing Park Models which allows for a good mix of people. The park offers numerous activities and if you are not busy it is really your own fault. The park is situated on the north side of Casa Grande which offers a great location if yopu are travelling into the Phoenix area or the Tuscon area. We arrived mid November and were only going to stay until January but decided to stay until the end of February. We will definitely be back for next year. Rate was based on the three month rate. We camped at Val Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park), Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed over night on our way through to Arizona. The pull through site we had was wide and easy to access. WiFi worked great. They even had a dog park which our dog really enjoyed. We would definitely stray here again when we visit the Las Cruces area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a week while visiting the Roswell area. The owner operators are very friendly and willing to help where ever they can. Sites are wide and easy for pull through. WiFi worked but at times was a bit hard to get on to. We would definitely recommend this RV Park if you are in the area. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coleman Park, Brownfield, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is great place to stop for an over night, the park is free however they do ask for donations and we think everyone should donate something as they supply 30 amp power, water hook ups and a sewer dump. It was quiet, bordered large city park and was easy to get into. We recommend stopping if you are in the area, just remember please donate and that you can only stay a maximum of 5 days. We camped at Coleman Park in a Fifth Wheel.

#1 RV Park of Tyler, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were concrete pads and level. Good WiFi, very friendly service at check in. The draw back was that this is an older park and the sites do not have a lot of room between them. Also there are a number of full time residents with most of their units in good shape but there are a couple of residents whose units look terrible. It was good place to stop for a couple of nights as we passed through the area. We camped at #1 RV Park of Tyler in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Gulf Military Monument Park, Port Gibson, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This one of the best kept secrets in the Port Gibson area. The campground and military park is a few miles from town but is well worth the trip. The park is quiet and clean, the staff are excellent. Sites are all concrete pads with full hook ups. WiFi can be obtained by going to the main office. We really enjoyed our stay here as we explored the area. We highly recommend it if you are in the area. We camped at Grand Gulf Military Monument Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Movietown RV Park, Canton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Overall the park was a good place to stay, the WiFi was the best we have encountered on our travels and the value of $22/night was excellent this was for a Full Service Site including 50 amp service. the only draw back is there is a high number of permanent residence with some of the units looking good and others not so good. We would stay here again if we ever came through this way. We camped at Movietown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good RV Park, sites were clean and neat. They were out cleaning up leaves the day we were there. We would of rated the park higher but for the simple fact that they only take cash or checks. We feel this is not appropriate especially if you are advertised as a Good Sam park. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for three nights on travels down the Natchez Trace. The campgrounds is part of the National Parks services and is free. All sites roads & sites are paved, there is a camp host that is very friendly & helpful. Campground has no services, they do have clean washrooms. This is a very quiet place to stay, it gave us a great location to explore the area from. We camped at Natchez Trace Parkway / Meriwether Lewis Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Ole RV Resort, Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting the Nashville area. The park is very well run, staff are friendly and very helpful. The staff guided to our site and ensured everything was hooked up and working before leaving. Every Friday & Saturday the park hosts a BBQ dinner as well as breakfast on Sat. mornings. This park offers good value as it is clos to half of what you would pay if you stayed in the parks in the Opry Land area. Only draw back was the close proximity to the railway track, you soon get used to it as after a bit we didn't even notice the trains. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cypress Lakes RV Park, Calvert City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights on our way to Nashville. The RV Park has about 1/3 seasonal sites, 1/3 long term and about 1/3 for overnighters. the Park is clean and neat. Wi-Fi only works in the main office or laundry room. Staff were very helpful in what to see and do in the area. Would stay here again if passing through this area. Anicinabe RV Park & Campground, Kenora, Ontario

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed her for an overnight stop on our way to visit family south of Kenora. The park is OK, great location on Lake of the Woods, sites are small as the park is older and was designed for units that were smaller at the time. Staff were helpful but didn't really understand the dynamics of backing a 37' fifth wheel into a site and sent us the wrong direction to our site. The park is OK for an overnight but would not want to stay any longer. they have no discounts i.e. Good Sam, Seniors etc. We camped at Anicinabe RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp, Balzac, Alberta

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This likely the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The interior roads are terrible, the place looks like a dump. There was dog droppings everywhere. If you are in the Calgary area do not stay here. We camped at Balzac Campground RV Park and Storage (formerly Whispering Spruce Camp in a Fifth Wheel.
