This was our second time here and we would come again. We like the noise in sites by the creek. They are the furthest from the highway and have a nice grass belt in front of the water. The facilities are excellent here and the pool is nice. The only thing keeping this place from a 10 rating is that the advertised WiFi throughout the park does not really work at the creek sites.

Having been on the road since September, we have stayed at a huge number of parks across the country. This is the only repeat we've had in eight months and deserved a re-review. The park is in a great location, with views of the ocean. Ocean view sites are not very long, with the tail of our 33' rig hanging over the hillside. We haven't seen any ants this time, but used comet anyway, just in case. The staff were a bit rude when we first came in, telling us we needed to move our car out of the site next to us as people were coming in for that site (she wasn't very nice in the way she asked and we were only parked there to unload some stuff from the car. The kicker is, no one moved into that spot for two more days!) The laundry doesn't open until 8 a.m., which seems rather late, since I am up and ready to do wash by 6 a.m. When I called to let them know that some packages would be showing up on Friday, the day before we arrived, the office told me they would refuse any package if we weren't already in the park (as it turned out, we showed up on Thursday, ahead of schedule.) Overall, the customer service in the park is well below par, but it is the best location in the LA area and still worth the stay.

Yes it is in an "industrial" part of town, but the hedges around the park pretty much block all that out. The park is very nice and clean. The pool is nice and the people are friendly. It is a short drive to most of the Phoenix area. The Wi-fi is great. It is under the glide path for the small, private airport, so there is some noise from that, and the spaces on the west side of the park are close enough to the freeway to really get that noise as well. We stayed on the east side, near the office and found it nice and quiet. We would stay here again.

I've got to say, this is one wonderful place to stay. The owners of this park are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. Everything is clean, the breakfast is a great affair and a nice meeting spot. While we were here they had a group come in and arranged a star gazing party with one of the people who works at the Lowell Observatory. Very Cool! The sites are very plain, but all are level and everything works. The Wifi signal is great throughout the park. What makes this place a winner is the people, who will go out of their way to make sure you get taken care of while you are here.

A nice little park in this corner of Utah. We were here two nights and all seemed OK here. Nothing fancy, but a good place to stay.

This is a really nice park. As was previously stated, the landscaping could use some work. The facilities are spotless. The staff are the nicest I've met anywhere across the US (we've been on the road for 7 months, so that's saying a lot). Location is good for getting into town. Wifi was perfect. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice KOA. It is only 7 years old and shows it. The trees need a few more years to mature, so shade here is non existent at this time. The new owners just took over and are doing a great job. BBQ delivered to your site is a real bonus. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is quite a drive from the caverns, but worth the trip. The kids loved riding on the firetruck. We would stay here again.

This park is very different from any we've stayed at before. It is within walking distance to the French Quarter, so very conveniently located. The sites are all very big and well kept. The pool and hot tub are very nice and the laundry and bathrooms are beautiful. The staff are all very nice and helpful (though they might want to take a few of the local tours to give better advice on which to recommend (try the walking tours that start at Cafe Begnet)). The only downside to this place is its location (it is both a plus and a minus). It is right below the freeway, so there is a lot of traffic noise. Also, being on the edge of the French Quarter, it is right next to a not so safe part of town (the area across the freeway). Given that, the park is surrounded by a large brick fence topped with sharp spines and is patrolled by security 24 hrs (both reassuring and disconcerting). They do offer to reimburse you for cab fare back from the French Quarter, but we ended up walking both ways when we went, never feeling unsafe (it was early in the evening, as we have kids). We would stay here again.

This is a nice big park. Sites are very nice and amenities are clean and well kept. We didn't try the WiFi (it is for a fee and we have satellite internet), but reception at our site seemed good. They offer propane delivery twice a week (a big bonus in my book). The laundry facilities were huge, though they close them during the night and don't reopen until 8 a.m. (I'm an early riser and like doing laundry at the crack of dawn). All in all, a very good place to stay in San Antonio.

Overall, this is a nice campground. Our first site was under the oak trees, which didn't allow us to use our satellite internet (the branches were also dangerously close to the top of the rig). This was only a problem because their wifi only works in the area immediately surrounding the office. We moved later to a site that was both open for satellite and close enough to get the office wifi. The laundry facility is nice, but rather small given the size of the park. The pool, bathrooms, and other amenities were all very nice. We would stay here again.

This park is in kind of a sketchy part of town, with quite a bit of crime according to one long term resident. The sites are very uneven, though very long and wide, giving some opportunity to adjust where the rig sits for getting it level. The wifi was good at our site, but we couldn't get satellite coverage. They do have limited cable. It was easy to find and in a convenient location to explore Mobile. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a key to the office/laundry/restroom building, so I could do laundry after they locked up for the night (6 pm).

We really liked this park. The staff were extremely friendly and the facilities are very nice. The laundry is cheap ($1 a load) and their wifi coverage is excellent. We couldn't get satellite reception where we were, but they did have cable, though a small channel selection. The pool was closed while we were here. Location is excellent, with quiet sites off the road and easy access to the highway and downtown. While we were here, we met a few people serving on the Florida State Legislature, staying here while it is in session. They were very welcoming and thanked us for spending our money in their state.

As the previous reviewer said, it is a bit on the older crowd side. That being said, we were just in the Keys, and the older crowd there seemed to be more lively, happy, and welcoming. Here, it's kind of a click situation. If you aren't here for an extended winter stay, you really aren't part of the crowd. The pool facility here is the best I've seen at any RV park (we've been to a lot lately) and the laundry facilities are nice. We did stay in two different sites while here. The first was in their "deluxe" area and was very nice, with good tree coverage (no satellite use, but they have excellent cable and wifi) and great locating in this huge park. The second site was much further into the park, one of their "premier" sites and was a huge disappointment. While all the other premier sites around us had grass and were well maintained, the one we got was dirt and sand. Our jacks sank into the soft sand and we tracked dirt into the rig constantly. Given the size of the park, you'd think they would take this site out of the mix for a short time to fix it up to the standard of the rest of the park, with either gravel or grass.

This is a great place to stay in the keys. The people are all happy and extremely friendly. Nice pool, great activities, nice bar, breakfast restaurant. Sites are really tight. Laundry had 5 machines not working. Whatever the shortcomings, they are made up for by everyone being happy to be here. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Most of the sites in this park are as tight as possible, tighter than any we have been to thus far in our year-long tour of the country. The range of accommodations are highly varied as well. We were put in the smallest, trailer trash section of the park, right near the entrance. We did walk the park and found some outstanding sites right on the water that had much more room. Even some of the better sites were way too tight for my taste. They do have a nice laundry facility, cheap too. We never got to the bathrooms, as they were way too far from our site to be convenient. The staff was extremely nice and I can't complain too much as they got us in when we showed up two days early. If you could reserve far enough in advance to get one of the "good" sites, it would be a nice place to stay.
