Bonny Rigg Campground, Becket, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. We were fortunate to have a site at the bottom of the campground that was in the open and fairly flat. Except for those sites (approximately 10) this is not a satellite friendly location. Management is working hard to keep this place in shape. Great for kids. About 20 miles from groceries. We camped at Bonny Rigg Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived here with a confirmed reservation as Coast to Coast members. We were met by the park manager who was visibly upset that we were there and barked at us that the park was closed. A Nor'Easter has gone through here about 3 weeks previous and devastated the park. Unknown to us (and no notification from Coast to Coast) the park was closed. Previously, we had left a voice message with this park inquiring about its status. Coast to Coast assured us the park was open. We will not bother to return to this park. We camped in a Motorhome.

Quinebaug Cove Campground, Brimfield, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. The Coast to Coast sites are called the Courtyard. Those sites are level and easy to back into. Half of these sites are satellite friendly. Verizon cell service was nonexistent. We would come back as an overnight if we had to. We camped at Quinebaug Cove Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Adventure Community, Milford, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. Coast to Coast sites are mixed within the park models and other types of rigs in this place. This is a huge weekend get-a-way place for residents. Not at all satellite friendly. Very poor Verizon cell service. A long and dusty drive from the main gate to our site. When you leave your site, take the map with you. You'll need it. We found FREE WiFi down the road at Ray N Charles Deli. We would stop here again only in an emergency. We camped at Lake Adventure Community in a Motorhome.

Shenandoah Crossing Resort, Gordonsville, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. The RV sites are separated from the cabins which makes it very nice. Some sites are difficult to level. Verizon cell service was usable. Some sites are satellite friendly. Cable TV is $2/night and bring a very long cable. Free Laundry! A very nice park, fairly close to tourist activities. We camped at Shenandoah Crossing Resort in a Motorhome.

Rock Ridge Resort (Closed), Pipestem, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park as Coast to Coast members. This place is terrible! Upon arrival, we couldn't find the office (there isn't one) and had to flag someone down after driving through the park to find the manager. This park has been taken over by permanent campers and it looks terrible. This is not a place for a traveler. Too many quads making too much noise and going too fast. We didn't see one dog on a leash. We will definitely not be returning to this place. If you need a place to spend the night, go into Pipestem where you will find other campgrounds. We camped at Rock Ridge Resort (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Green Mountain Park Resort, Lenoir, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park as Coast to Coast members. This ia a very nice resort in a beautiful setting. Many of the sites have a deck (all are showing signs of aging). Sites are level with cement pads. Good Verizon cell service. Few sites are satellite friendly. WiFi is available in the Great Hall. Cable is not free. Entrance road to park is narrow so use caution on this road. We would definitely return to this park. We camped at Green Mountain Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Pride RV Resort, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

Some of the sites facing Jonathan Creek are difficult to level. Large sawmill operation across the highway is quite noisy at times. Otherwise, this is a great destination for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We will definitely return to this park. Less that half of the sites are satellite friendly but cable and WiFi are available. We camped at Pride RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Breckenridge Lake RV Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. The park itself is made up of approximately 50 plus sites. maybe 30 of them that are usable. The sites are graveled and level. Free WiFi. Laundry facilities were clean. Cell phone service was good. Some sites are satellite friendly. $10 deposit for restroom key. This park is about 20 miles south of Crossville off of highway 127. Call for directions before traveling to the resort! It will make finding the park a lot easier. Park managers were quite helpful with local attractions and maps. If travel time to the resort from I40 is not a concern, we will visit this park again. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf, Park City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

The area here is just fantastic! Caves, Caves and more Caves! Don't miss Diamond Caverns just a walk across the road! Most of the sites are difficult to level your rig. All sites have been graveled. Limited distance free WiFi in the Pavilion. Good cell reception. Most sites are satellite friendly. Campground staff and host were very friendly and helpful. Propane is available at the park. Good laundry facilities. We will certainly return to this park. We camped at Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf in a Motorhome.

R Ranch in the Mountains, Dahlonega, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. Coast to Coast members cannot use sites with sewer hookup! There are only 10 sites available to Coast to Coast members. A dump station is available nearly 1/2 mile from the sites. This is a very beautiful place. Beautiful lodge. Horse stables with trail riding available. The Appalachian Trail is within 15 minutes driving time. Dahlonega GA is within minutes driving time. While we were here, all non-Coast to Coast member sites were occupied by vacant RV's. It appears that most of the sites are privately owned. 5 of the 10 Coast to Coast sites were also occupied by vacant RV's. Nearly 20 additional sites were being constructed while we were here. There is no cell phone service nor TV antenna service in this area. This a very satellite friendly park. If traveling to this resort, call for instructions on avoiding the extremely sharp turns in the resort's main entrance. Use Yahoola Road intead. For a short stay, we would return to this resort! We camped at R Ranch in the Mountains in a Motorhome.

Horseshoe Trails Camping at Mountain Lakes Resort, Cleveland, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast Members. This is a beautiful park. Almost all sites have a great patio/deck, all built by work campers. Beautiful large lodge at top of the hill. The paved roads inside the park are steep but drivable. We walked the park every day we were there. Great exercise. This park is mostly not satellite friendly. But with free WiFi and $2/day cable, not a problem. Verizon cell service marginal. We would certainly stay here again. We camped at Horseshoe Trails Camping at Mountain Lakes Resort in a Motorhome.

North Shore Landing (Formerly Lake Oconee/Greensboro KOA) , Greensboro, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. Most sites are on terraced pads that are difficult at best to get into. There are a few pull thru sites but they appeared to be mostly un-level. Other than the difficulty in accessing the sites, this is a nice park. Greensboro, Madison and Eatonton all very close. We would stay here again. Verizon Cell service was good to excellent. Some sites are satellite friendly. We didn't use the park WiFi so not sure what the cost was. We camped at North Shore Landing (Formerly Lake Oconee/Greensboro KOA) in a Motorhome.

Palmetto Shores RV Resort (formerly Big Water Lake Club Campground), Summerton, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

This a nice park. We stayed here as Coast to Coast members. While here in February, the park was nearly empty. Many overnighters on their way south. Upon arrival, we were told that we must wear a pink wrist band at all times. No way! We did see others wearing them. The restrooms and showers were spotless. Only 2 washers and dryers, housed in an open area of the comfort station. Excellent exercise room with very good equipment. Most sites are pull-thru and level. Verizon cell service marginal. Very satellite friendly. This is a place to bring the kids. Santee (outlet stores), Summerton and Manning SC all very close. We camped at Palmetto Shores RV Resort (formerly Big Water Lake Club Campground) in a Motorhome.
