Genesee Country Campground, Caledonia, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this campground a few times a year for many years. We are typically there on long holiday weekends. They staff is awesome and you truly feel like family there. We really like the facing pull-throughs as we typically stay with at least one other family and its nice to be awning to awning and this makes the sites much larger. They are level and grassy. The only thing its missing is a pool. There's a nice small race track right across the street too. We camped at Genesee Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hamlin Beach State Park, Hamlin, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Great campsites in the woods. Beach is a great place. You need to drive through to find good sites. Many are it not level and are meant for smaller units. Electric hookups only. Great place to spend a weekend only. We camped at Hamlin Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Four Winds Campground, Portageville, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed there as a seasonal many years ago but park was recently sold to a resort company. Rated almost doubled but they did add a pool and inflatable water slides for kids. Very nice setting but entrance and exits are winding through woods. Staff was ok but not as family oriented as previous owners. Would not go back. We camped at Four Winds Campground in a Travel Trailer.
