Vines RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park big rig friendly, easy off/on to Highway 101 with level concrete sites, efficient staff but the highway noise from 101 is not pleasant and disruptive to conversations and sleep. Passport America sites are closer to road but would not return even at $26 as highway noise is never ceasing! We camped at Vines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Candlestick RV Park, San Francisco, California

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

At this SF RV Park you are fifteen minutes from downtown SF. The price is high, the road to park is bumpy, the wifi, the utilities are good, the view is not terrific, the spaces are paved and tight, but if we wanted to be close to high traffic SF, this park would rate a five out of five. Location, Location, Location and will return! Definitely big rig friendly! We camped at Candlestick RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #901 (Elks only), Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

An Elks only park that has great website reservation system. Park is big rig friendly with full hookups on a paved parking lot. Will definitely return as area is quiet, convenient, clean and friendly, helpful host even though in an industrial area. We camped at Elks Lodge #901 (Elks only) in a Motorhome.

Elks Lodge #652, Eureka, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Coming from North, our GPS routed us through neighborhood streets that are negotiable, however, easiest is stay on 101 thru town and take Herrick street exit. Easy access upon arriving at park with gravel slopping sites that require some leveling. All back in sites that share water spigot but have individual electric and sewer. Easy and friendly registration. Other than leveling issues, will definitely stay again! We camped at Elks Lodge #652 in a Motorhome.

Elk Country RV Resort & Campground, Trinidad, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

As another review stated, an older park that needs help and is big rig friendly with back in and pull thru sites. Sites are mostly level, self registration, good 30amp, bad water that flows rusty and totally plugged our filter. Elk are there and as another review states is the attraction. Sadly, park is not one we will use again. We camped at Elk Country RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is friendly and big friendly. We arrived without reservations and was immediately accommodated. Sites have cable, small rock, table, grass, level with 30 amp service, good water and sewer connections. It is evident that the owners work hard to keep the entire park clean and very usable. First park that asked what clubs we are members and gave us the lowest price. Will return to this quiet, well kept park. We camped at Port Orford RV Village in a Motorhome.

Beverly Beach State Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived without reservations at 1pm and many sites available this time of year. Pick a site and self register. All sites on the loops of all sections are back-in with full hookups including cable TV. Had good Verizon 4G. Access to ocean is under a beautiful highway 101 bridge. Our site as all sites are tree covered. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Columbia River RV, Portland, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We had easy access from I5 coming south and upon leaving the I5 access going south we crossed three lanes for entrance. Our site at park was large, good utilities and location of utilities, cable tv, cement and grass with no table. Definitely big rig easy and will return. The only real negatives are airplane noise and resident workers leaving at 5am. Will return. We camped at Columbia River RV in a Motorhome.

Barview Jetty Park, Rockaway Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located on Tillamook Bay and Pacific Ocean with easy access from 101 at Barview. There is a registration fee whether you make reservations on line, phone or in person so first night fee for pull thru was $49 and subsequent nights were $39, which we thought was high but we wanted beach access and quiet. Sites either pull thrus or backin are graveled, big rig easy, fireplaces, good full hookups in good location, with mostly paved interior roads. Will stay again for location. Many sand tent sites that are close to ocean and tree cover. We camped at Barview Jetty Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Stevens State Park, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival in mid week there were only a few sites left at 1 o'clock for more than one night. We were able to get a pull thru in M loop with full hookups. Good big rig friendly, paved, dirt, but was very frustrated with weak to non existent water pressure, 30 amp, slow Verizon Data, Verizon is not the park's problem but be aware. Most sites are tree covered so there is no satellite and very few over the air channels. After two nights, we were able to stay in N loop with excellent water pressure and 50amp service in a back-in, with only electric and water. And it is a busy park with over 500 sites and receptionists that are efficient but not helpful or over friendly. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Cranberry RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park to be friendly and quiet, grass and dirt level sites and a paved interior road. Water pressure was good, but the 30 amp electric activated our surge protector several times. Very dog friendly park and as the manager says, this park is our dog's home, so her dogs and many dogs enjoy unleashed freedom. Very nice rec hall and helpful manager. We camped at Cranberry RV Park in a Motorhome.

Brookhollow RV Park, Kelso, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arriving at Brookhollow area, it is important to go to road designated by Brookhollow RV Park, not the first Brookhollow sign as we did upon advice from GPS! The registration process was very friendly and helpful. Pull thru sites are wide, cement with good utility location for all rigs including our big rig. West side of park was mostly back-in but had same configuration as pull thrus! Overall a good experience and will return when in area. We camped at Brookhollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Harmony Lakeside RV Park, Silver Creek, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

When we made reservations, we were told of various options (back in, pull thru, lakeview and price difference of each) and upon arrival realized that all sites were basically the same: level gravel, truck rim fireplaces, grass areas full of fresh mole dirt mounds, narrow sites, quiet, big rig friendly, pull thrus, back ins and lakeview sites intermixed, good utilities, cable TV and gravel interior roads. Our credit card was charged for first night upon making reservations. Overall, okay but very pricey for size and quality of sites. We camped at Harmony Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

It was difficult to get a reservation and once here, we understand! The park is totally paved, trees/bushes between each site which gives privacy as sites are very close, 60 cable channels, spotty WiFi and Verizon, big rig friendly, quiet, clean and walking trails around perimeter of park. Water pressure strong and you can wash vehicles on site. Overall, great park that gives access to Seattle. Now we understand why reservations are difficult. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bellingham RV Park, Bellingham, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Was pleasantly surprised that it was quiet even though you do hear I-5 traffic in the distance, occasional train, but no aircraft or neighborhood truck parking. Sites are narrow, graveled and tiered with grass! Many older rigs that appear to be permanent throughout park with some messy yards. Big rig friendly, strong utilities, cable TV, and convenient location. Would stay again for overnight. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Motorhome.
