Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails), Cottonwood, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were in area "A", the newest area in park. It was fine, however the sites were very close together. The good part was they were back to back, close with more room on front side. The pool area was very clean and nice. Maintenance throughout the park was well done by friendly staff. We camped at Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails) in a Fifth Wheel.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is relatively new and they are working hard to improve it. The people are very friendly and helpful but the office could be open more hours. The Wi-Fi was not working in the campground but was good in the office area. We had a very large site just off the river but it was all stones and dirt no grass. They have grass in other areas of the park just none on this end. Lots of shade which is good and the swimming hole is very nice. Our cable signal was weak, they thought it was our hook up but it worked well at previous and the next parks we were at. They are trying hard but have work yet to do. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Yosemite West Mariposa KOA, Midpines, California

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Staff not very friendly or helpful especially with the slow or no Wi-Fi even after paying for it. Their response was call the company. There was no cell service for us in the park either. Sites are close together and barely long enough for us. All stones no grass. Good location, pool very nice and clean but cold. Laundry small but clean. Huge store and gift area, but we did not shop there. It is all about location and this is pretty close to Yosemite and thus busy. We camped at Yosemite West Mariposa KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, very clean bathrooms and laundry. Can not reserve a specific site, but we got the one we wanted. Sites very close together. We liked the "sound" side better than the seaside. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was the nicest park we have camped in our 2 yrs. of RVing. Lots of trees sites not right on top of each other. Campground hosts were very nice. Excellent location for Glacier NP. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
