Codgers Cove RV Park, Pierre, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located on Lake Oahe and right across the street from Spring Creek Marina. If you are a fisherman, this place is a must stay place. Monthly rates are $375. All sites are ample, level, and are full hookups. There are a number of seasonal residents who stay here to take advantage of the unbelievable fishing in Lake Oahe. There is no office and all contact is through Vic or son Andrew, who live on site. Phone numbers are posted on website. They are great people and very accommodating. We were there to attend the Bass Elite Series Fishing Tournament, and stayed in our 5th Wheel. Many of the competitors also stayed at this park. I would highly recommend and am already looking forward to a return trip. My wife and I are full time RVers. We camped at Codgers Cove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart is about 15 miles south- with a very scenic drive to get there. Spring Creek Resort and Marina is across the street and feature a very good restaurant open 7 days. They also have a store and sell gas for boats, as well as fishing licenses and Park passes. If you are coming through Pierre on 14/83 North, there is a low bridge that you need to pay attention to- 11'3". We contacted AAA to get routing instructions around.

88 Shades RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Ours was not a positive experience. We had reservations for 4 days, but didn't know we were coming when checking in. Had to ask for a map to find our site. Had to return to office to get wi-fi credentials. Never did get to Spa as it was locked and we didn't have access code. When I inquired about a dog run, was told not to use the one listed on map. Mail we had sent to us there was returned as undeliverable. The address on their website is not a mailing address, so call and check first and be sure to get their PO Box #. Nor do they have an email address where issues can be reported. Electricity, at least at our site, bordered on high voltage: 128-130 volts. On the plus side, the overnight area is clean, level, and easily accessible. We camped at 88 Shades RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

On-Ur-Wa RV Park, Onawa, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on/off I29. Long pull through sites. Owners were very friendly and helpful. For being so close to the Interstate, it was relatively quiet. One of the nicest overnight stays we have had. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling through NW Iowa and in need of a place to stay. We camped at On-Ur-Wa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cayuga Lake State Park, Seneca Falls, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are level, accessible and each contains picnic table and fire pit, shared water. Our one complaint about this park is that they still have not addressed their power problem. Voltage at the sites runs 131 and spikes to 133 & 134. Our Surge Supressor was constantly tripping. Park people when informed, acknowledged the problem, however said the only people reporting problems are ones with newer rv's(ones with sophisticated Power Mgmt Systems). We came up with some workarounds- shutting off power at night, running air conditioner during the day.The power issue was a real problem and based on that we would probably not return here. We camped at Cayuga Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pumpkin Patch RV Resort, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We were part of Escapee Rally with about 20 other rigs. Most definitely impressed with the facility. The staff were friendly and courteous. The sites were just as impressive: level, clean, everything worked the way it was supposed to. I have already booked a return for next year and would highly recommend it. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cochise Terrace RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed there in an Airstream TT. It was easy to get to and just close enough to town to get to stores for supplies. The views were awesome, the park clean, the staff friendly. Very large sites, 100+ Cable TV channels. ONLY thing we didn't like was lack of a heated pool. Would most definitely stay there again. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We had just completed trek across country and were looking for a place to "rest up" for a few days. The park had everything that we needed, plus right next door to Camping World, and a short drive down I-40 to downtown Albuquerque. We thought it was an excellent value, in a good location. It was a pleasant experience. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Travel Trailer.
