Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 3 nights, one on the way to Branson, and two on the way home. The RV park is small but very well kept but although the amenities here show cable but I'm not sure we did have cable. Gated, very good security, garbage picked up twice a day. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Beale St. good food and music. Streets in Memphis like a washboard watch out for potholes. Although we could have gone next door to Graceland we opted to go to Beale St. in downtown Memphis for gumbo and music.

Sunset Travel Park, Cottondale, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Stopover going to coming from Branson. I stayed in the park across the street from the main yard both times which was very convenient because I had a drive through and didn't have to drop my toad. No bath and showers on this side but the cable water pressure and power were good. We camped at Sunset Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Branson Shenanigans RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived late, two men were waiting for me led me to campsite with a lot of turns and hilly terrain and unhitched my car and set me all up before I knew and they won't take any compensation. Surprisingly it was pretty level just needed some blocks to lift the front. My site was at the very top of the park and no one to close although the park was half empty. Management very nice and helpful. We camped at Branson Shenanigans RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boyd's Key West Campground, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with all facilities. We had a back-in site near the office because we wanted to be close to the gate so we wouldn't be far from the bus stop to go down town Key West. We decided to drive, the trip by car is only 15 minutes and the bus is 45 minutes and we had no trouble finding parking on side streets two blocks from Duval St. Lots of restaurants and sidewalk bars. Stayed 3 nights. The event that week was Ernest Hemingway look alike contest at Sloppy Joe's Restaurant and Bar. We camped at Boyd's Key West Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's really nothing much between Florida City and Key west except a hundred miles straight road and island hopping until you hit key West.We left on Saturday and the traffic on the other side was bumper to bumper and many people towing boats. You're probably better off going during the week and leaving before or after Sunday because it's a big boating weekend resort area for people living in South Florida.

Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W', Chattahoochee, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night on the way to Biloxi, Miss and one night on the return home. This was a great stopover destination for us because it's really in the middle of nowhere and without a tow we got some rest. Campsites are dirt as are the roads, surprisingly very level and shady. Lots of room not very many campers, quiet. Swimming pool wifi, no cable but good local reception. We camped at Triple C's Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee W' in a Motorhome.

For us just a good stopover point, not much could be done here without a car but just a great place to stay overnight. We would stay again if we head out west.

Majestic Oaks RV Resort, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

At first we thought we were in the wrong neighborhood, not a safe looking area, but when we approached the the park the entrance was very impressive. Our site was a back in which was good because our RV is only 24' All sites are concrete and very level, good cable and wifi. Considering a RR nearby and the AF base, noise was minimal. Coud have used a little more shade. We camped at Majestic Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

In close proximity to the beautiful beach, casinos. We don't tow so we rent from Enterprise because of their pick up and drop off policy. We drove to New Orleans, to the French Quarter for a day trip, 85 miles away.

Breezy Acres RV Park, Chiefland, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Wide spaces and level. Although there was no cable, local tv reception was exceptional with many channels. Staff and guests were very friendly. This time we stayed 3 nights due to the fact that we could not go to Charleston. SC because of inclement weather. We would definitely stay again when passing through. Sarasota Sunny South RV & Mobile Home Resort (55+ park), Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Small, immaculately kept campground., near to all local attractions and beaches. The manager is an awesome person and goes out of his way to be helpful. The sites are shells instead of gravel, between some permanent structures that look like they might be privately owned and are very well kept. Beautiful pool and there is a Tiki Bar that's open in season. Bathrooms and showers are well lit and super clean. Cable TV and Wi-Fi included. When we are in this area again we will definitely stay here. We camped at Sarasota Sunny South RV & Mobile Home Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ringling museum, not far from beach, many good restaurants. A big cat rescue a few miles from the RV park. The owners put on a wonderful show with the big cats, really worth seeing, and the money collected goes for the care of the beautiful animals.
