Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Called ahead and left a message for them to call us back. They never returned our call. Decided to take a chance and drive in. There was a truck camper RV Rally going on. went to office and told the lady we just needed a space for one night. Told me it would be $50. She asked me about discounts, but we didn't have any they accepted. Was told about the Texas RV Park Discount Card and she gave me 10% off. Total for stay was $45, which is ore that we would normally pay anywhere, but we were tired. All gravel streets and gravel sites. Our site was fairly level and it was plenty long for our 40' fifth wheel. Park appears clean and is pretty quiet. Good space between camp sites. We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Countryside RV Park, Falfurrias, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for just an overnight at this RV Park. We were warmly greeted by the owner of the park. They purchased the park about a year ago. Very clean park, nice grounds and all of the sites I saw were all pretty much level. We were escorted to our site and he stayed until we were plugged in to make sure everything worked alright. They also invited us to the clubhouse for root beer float night. Several upgrades have been made to the park. They have 97 sites now and each site has a concrete patio to the side. Easy access to the water, electric and sewer hook ups. The clubhouse has a small kitchen area, an area to visit, game room, pool table and restrooms. In another building, there is a small swimming pool and a large hot tub. Both appeared very clean and well kept. The laundry facilities looked clean, however, we didn't use them. $1.50 to wash and $1.25 to dry. The restrooms and showers are very clean, but they do need some updating. A few long term people, several Winter Texan's and even a few families are here. Several people in small gatherings visiting. Park is big rig friendly. Just off Hwy 281, easy in and easy out. Owners are very friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy visiting with their residents. They also have internet, but we used our own, so not sure what their's is like. It appears the new owners have put a lot of work into improvements in this park. We recommend this RV park and we would stay here again. Stayed in a 40' fifth wheel and paid $26. We camped at Countryside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Braunig Lake RV Resort, Elmendorf, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights in this RV park in January 2014. Stayed in a 40' fifth wheel. Got in late and the host on duty quickly helped us with our reservation. Except, he could not find our reservation. Apparently it had gotten lost. But not a big deal, he had a site for us that was close to a family member we had stopped to see. Streets and site are all gravel. Clean bathrooms and showers. Sites are very close together. We would stay here again for overnight or short term, but would probably try to find another place with more room between sites for long term. We camped at Braunig Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Hill State Park, Cedar Hill, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights at this park in January 2017 in a 40' fifth wheel. The lady at the gate gave us a pull thru site with a view of the lake. Site was not that level, but we managed. Very quiet park and appeared clean. Pretty good for a State Park. Was easy to navigate all the roads. All roads and our site was paved. We camped at Cedar Hill State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Valley RV Park , Guthrie, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time staying at this park. You have to go through town, but it is very easy to get to. Very quiet setting. Stayed on Passport America for $18 with full hook up. Lot of construction workers use this campground, but the Host told me they always keep five sites open for overnight stays. Sites are pretty level and are partial concrete. Restrooms and showers are always locked and are very clean. We recommend this little park and will stay here again. Stayed in January 2017 in 40' fifth wheel. We camped at Cedar Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shepard State Park, Gautier, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this State Park for one night while passing through. We arrived after dark, so navigating through it in the dark was a little tricky. There are a few low limbs on the road going into the park, but you can get around them. Very quiet State Park. Bath house was not clean and in bad need of repair. There was a sign on the women's door that said the bath house was in the process of being remodeled, which they were obviously working on. We stayed in Site 24, which is a pull thru site located just off the road. Pretty site and fairly easy to get in and out of. Electrical box worked fine, but needs to be upgraded. Very nice and friendly staff. We would stay here again. We camped here in Jan. 2015 in a 40' fifth wheel. We camped at Shepard State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tamiami Village & RV Park, North Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this RV Park from Jan. 1 through Jan. 26th. Nice wide streets, however, the RV spaces are fairly narrow. Very nice office staff and very accommodating. The price for this RV park was about the lowest we could find in the area. We paid $238 a week. Staff will help you park your RV, which is very nice. Very nice pool, shuffleboard, activities and free ice! The mail lady will deliver packages to your RV also. If you stay for a longer period, then you will have your own mailbox in the mail room. Nice clean bath house and laundry. Although the laundry is pricey. Wifi is not the greatest, depending on where you are parked. Trash pick up every day. Onsite barber, beauty salon and manicures. Located across the street from the Shell Factory on Hwy. 41. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. We camped at Tamiami Village & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night at this RV Park while traveling west. We called ahead and made our reservation. When we arrived, we found a very well kept park, concrete roads and all concrete pads. The spacing between the RV's was adequate and you were not packed in like sardines. Very nice office and store area, clean rest rooms and showers, clean laundry facilities. This park also offers a free continental breakfast. I just grabbed a cup of coffee before we left, however, there was orange and apple juice, cold cereals, a make your own waffle machine and biscuits & gravy. Sure looked good to me! Very, very nice RV park! We would recommend this RV park if you're ever in the area! We would stay here again! We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and helpful management and office staff. The park is clean as well as the rest rooms and laundry facilities. The streets are narrow as well as the camp sites, however, I was able to maneuver a 40' fifth wheel with no problems. All the residents are very friendly. We would stay here again. Branson Lakeside RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Attended a Rally at this campground. Campground is close to the water which makes for good fishing. People are friendly and campground is pretty quiet. Appears to be a very popular campground as it was pretty full most of the time we were there. We stayed for 5 or 6 days. Streets are wide and sites are fairly wide also. We would stay at this campground again. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
