Red Gate Campground & RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 6 nights with our fifth wheel. Great location to use as a base for exploring Savannah, Tybee Island and other points of interest nearby. Even drove up to Hilton Head one day. Hop On Hop Off Shuttle comes right out to campground and picks you up to take you on a tour of the Historical Downtown Savannah area. Sites were spacious and well maintained. We camped at Red Gate Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Jesse M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Huge state park very close to the sand dunes. If you stay in the H Loop the noise from the ATV's is louder and the sites are less sheltered than some of the other loops so it can be windy. Dump station worked well. Firewood available from park hosts. We camped at Jesse M. Honeyman Memorial State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Silver Falls State Park, Sublimity, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 3 nights in a 39 foot fifth wheel. Large park, great location for hiking and exploring the 10 plus waterfalls in the park. Beautiful park and you can go behind some of the waterfalls. Very neat. Only downside was that the dump station for the park is in the group area and is on a slant. Tanks barely drained. Also good location to explore the towns of Salem and Silverton.
