Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate is a weekly rate. Nice destination park - 15 minutes to downtown. This is a very pretty and well maintained park with gorgeous views of snow capped mountains. Marina is nearby. Sites are tight for big rigs. Streets would be considered wide streets if it were not for all the vehicles parked on both sides. Sites have nice level concrete pads with young tree on each side so sites are very sunny. There is very nice green Astro turf on between each site. It is an easy walk around the lake and marina. Each site has a picnic table. Entry to Park is very easy. Lanes are paved. Utilities all work well and are placed in the center of the site. WiFi worked well. Road noise is not a problems nor is the noise from trains or planes. Laundry is quite small for a park of this size. If more than two people in the laundry room, it gets crowded. Nice laundry but expensive. Small washers are $2.25 per load and dryers are $1.75 per load. May is still very cool at night so we saw no bugs. Nice pool and spa. Two fenced dog runs. We will definitely return to this RV park. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunrise Valley RV Park LLC, Mina, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Entry to Park is very easy. Beautiful mountain views . The campground is rustic and we liked it very much. There is a laundry, which was clean. There are no restaurants or gas stations. Lanes are gravel. Navigation through the park is easy. Sites are extra long, nice and wide with a shade tree or two and gravel There are Trees on each side of the site that are well trimmed. Utilities all work well and are placed in the center of the site. WIFI worked well Road noise is not a problems nor is the noise from trains or planes. The month of May is still very cool at night so we saw no bugs. We will definitely return to this RV park. We camped at Sunrise Valley RV Park LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park), Beatty, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an easy drive North from Las Vegas. This is a small park that is part of a motel. Park is all dirt with two medium sized trees on each side of each space. All sites are pull thru and big rig friendly. Most folks pull in for one night and pull out next day. The views are incredible as Beatty is in a very narrow valley between two mountain ranges. Sites are long with well placed utilities that work well. Very little road noise and no train or airplane noise. Good WIF and ATT and Verizon cell coverage. Good cable TV with HBO. As others have noted, the park manager can appear grumpy but he was very helpful to us. There is a big Fall Festival in Beatty around the end of October every year that looks like a lot of fun. The price is right. You enter the park, go to the appropriate row and then check in. We will definitely stay here in the future. We camped at Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

A definite resort. Easy access to highways and to Vegas Strip. Just south of the city HIGHLY Recommended. Trees for shade on premium sites/ WIFI is good. Concrete Pads and asphalt roads. Onsite cafe for breakfast & lunch. A bit of freeway noise but not bad. This is a really nice RV park. Sites are wide enough and long enough for a big rig. Ours is 43 ft! We are in space 171 which has an additional concrete pad for us to park our truck. Facilities are just beautiful. GPS can get confused so be sure to use the directions on the park website for accessing this park. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Kingman KOA, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Expensive but there are great distances between towns in this part of Arizona. A nice KOA with sites plenty long enough for our 43 ft. fifth wheel and Ford F350 one ton dually pick up. Sites are all dirt with Picnic table. All sites have trees and shrubs on both sides for privacy and shade. Heated pool and spa as well as childrens playground, small fenced dog run and miniature golf. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Utilities all work well and are well placed in the center of the site. WIFI is excellent - even with the park being quite full!!! The view is of fields and mountains. We will definitely stay here again. Kingman is a much larger town than you might think being out here in the middle of nowhere. We camped at Kingman KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort), Sun City, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

We pull a 43 ft fifthwheel with a Ford F350 1 ton dually pick up. This is a huge park of primarily park models. No dog run. and a long walk to the club house and pool and other facilities. Park is beautiful with lots of green grass and tall trees and beautiful flowers. Streets are macadam. Spaces are large and long. Short term RV sites are 30/50 AMP Full Hook Up on sand with a narrow concrete pad for a patio. Folks here are very friendly. This is a really nice park - just wish there was a fenced off leash dog area. WIFI is only available in the clubhouse area. No cable TV and no pull thru spaces for RV. We will definitely return. Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA (formerly Magic Circle RV Park), Willcox, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a gem. New owners and workers are totally committed to your satisfaction. No cable yet/under construction. Spacious sites , some with big trees. Very large fenced dog park. All thick bed of gravel. Very clean. Very long and wide spaces with good sized trees and shrubs. True it is very close to I10 so road noise is constant. In winter with windows closed you can still sleep well. We will definitely return to this park. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA (formerly Magic Circle RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a gem. This park sits right off Hwy 10 but we slept with our windows open and no problem sleeping. Views are West Texas prairie. We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with an F350. Entry into the park was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Other RVer's are very nice. Lanes within the park are macadam and easy to navigate a big rig. Sites are gravel surrounded by gravel and grass. Some sites have big trees. We are in site 57 so the entire right side of our rig faces West and even in Nov. full afternoon sun on the rig got hot. We will request a treed site next time. Site includes a picnic table. WIFI is good for checking emails. Utilities work well. AT&T Cell coverage is good and Verizon Broadband is good. Cable TV is excellent and the Satellite reception is good also. There is a large fenced in, clean dog park which we really appreciate. Pool is nice and there is a Nice play area for kids . It is Nov. so no Bugs. Park Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is excellent and well priced with good service. Can't wait to return to this great RV park for a much longer stay next time. Caverns of Sonora RV Park, Sonora, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I am rating this park a "10". It is not a resort but it is a gem. Water and electric only. No reservations so you need to arrive early if you want to get in. If you want quiet and peaceful, this is it. The park sits right on the river. We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with an F350. Entry into the park was very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Views are of the local low mountains and grasslands. Lanes within the park are wide enough and gravel. Sites are very long and wide and surfaced with tiny crushed granite that is very clean. Sites are easily twice the size of sites in most RV parks. Some sites have trees. And there is a bit of grass between sites. Site includes a patio with patio furniture and a great grill/smoker. Utilities are well placed and work well. AT&T Cell service and Verizon Broadband worked well. Park WIFI is great. Good cable TV and good satellite reception. A great large off leash fenced dog park. . We are here in November so no bugs. Can't wait to return to this great RV park for a day or two to revisit the caverns and just relax. We camped at Caverns of Sonora RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with an F350. Entry into the park was easy. Staff are helpful. Fellow RVers are friendly. This is an historic site built in a oak tree forest with a huge beautiful pool. I bet this place is full and so much fun in the summer. Lanes within the park are wide enough and older macadam. Sites are nice & long for big rigs, and are gravel surrounded by grass and big trees. Site includes a picnic table. Utilities all worked well. AT&T Cell was weak. Verizon broadband worked well. Park WIFI was good. Very small fenced Dog towards the back. Nice play area for kids . The Vineyards, Grapevine, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I am rating this park a "6" because of our site. If not for this, this park is a definite 10!! Premium Sites are very long. Many are concrete but some are macadam. We were in Space 22 which is horrible because it is macadam and slants downhill on the side and downhill on the front. Bring lots of blocks to even try to get your rig level in this space. . The camper behind us told us over the past month he has watched every single rig struggle in space 22. So this is NOT a new problem. Be sure you are not put in this space! Add to that the sewer connection is up on the street so absolutely impossible to drain your tanks! Entry into the park was easy. Staff was great. Fellow RVers very friendly. Views and access of the lake are great. Lanes within the park are macadam and wide enough. One area of the park has no trees and the other area has lots of trees. There are large grassy areas leading down to the lake. Site includes full hookups with a picnic table and inground fire ring. Utilities work well at this site except the sewer which is installed too high for you to be able to empty your holding tanks. This is a big problem with this site. AT&T Cell is good. Verizon Broadband is good as is Cable TV. Satellite works well. Be aware this is NOT a resort. There is no fenced in dog park and no pool/spa. There is a nice play area all around the lake for kids to play. We are here in early November and there are no Bugs. We camped at The Vineyards in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is a little gem. We pull a 43 ft fifth wheel with an F350. Entry into the park was easy. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Fellow RVers are really friendly. Lanes within the park are paved and wide. Sites are and gravel surrounded with lots of grass and tall trees. Sites include concrete patio and table. Utilities are well positioned and work well. There is a lazy river that runs along the side of the park. AT&T Cell is very good. Verizon Broadband is very good. Park WIFI is okay. Like most parks it slows down as the park fills up. Cable TV is very good and Satellite reception is excellent. Dog park is large. Would be even better if it were fenced so we could let the dogs off leash. For now there is lots of room to walk the dogs. Nice pool and really nice pond. Nice walking path all around the pond. We've been here at all times of the year and never experienced any bugs. We will definitely return to this park. We camped at Wichita Falls RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
