Tifton KOA, Tifton, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Site we had was not level. They had a water bottle over the sewer rather than a cap. Lot of ant piles. Lady host was very pleasant. We stayed overnight. I don't believe we would return. We camped at Tifton KOA in a Motorhome.

My Old Kentucky Home State Park, Bardstown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Well shaded but site was way out of level. Couldn't reach the 30 amp box. Neighbor loaned me an extension. Could not reach the water supply with my 25' hose. Had to add a 10' extension. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Close to all attractions. I really don't know if I would camp here again. There are 3 campgrounds in the area and it would be a toss up. We camped here one week. We camped at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park), Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

It was close quarters in the section that I stayed in. Full hookup with 30 amp service. One water pipe coming out of the ground with two faucets. This meaning that the rv's coming in staggered each other. Very close. That said, we really enjoyed this park. Every Thursday they had a barbecue with a country singer serenading the folks. Grey Line came in and took us to all of the attractions in beautiful Nashville. Owner was very pleasant. Introduced him to my wife at the barbecue and said to her this is our host. He replied and said no, you are my guest. I like that. We stayed there a week and would gladly return. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, Rossville, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 10 days and received a weekly rate. It's situated at the base of beautiful mountains and next door to the Racoon Mountain Caverns, which we took in. Our site was long and full hookup was adequate. We enjoyed the park and would return. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we stayed at. We stayed one full week. Enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub. Close to highway but, but we really didn't hear any highway noise. The staff was very nice and escorted us to our site. I would have gave it a higher mark if it had cable. within an hour or so to all the attractions such as Andersonville Civil War Museum, Jimmiy Carter's hometown and Warner-Robbins Air Force Museum. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
