Terre Haute KOA, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We generally stop here one night in Winter and Spring. Friendly and clean. We had full hook up. It is very pricey, but few parks are open this time of year, this far north. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Memphis KOA , Marion, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We did not have a reservation, so we had a back in site with water and electric. The site was very close to highway 55 with lots of road noise and smell. We have stopped at this park a few times prior, and camped further away from road with full hook-up and pull through. Good easy off and on park for one night. We camped at Memphis KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We did not have a reservation for a Saturday, so we were put in the overflow for a night. It had a very friendly and quiet group camped there. The washrooms were new and very clean! We had water and electric. Next 2 nights we had full hook up in Area 3. Older washrooms and showers, but clean. great hikes, lake and trees. would stay there again on our way to and from Arizona. We camped at Tyler State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We have stopped 4 times into this beautiful quiet, scenic, friendly park on our way to and from Arizona. We usually stay for a week.

The owners and staff (mostly family run) are very friendly and hard working! All seasonal guests are extremely welcoming and included us on all events they planned i.e. ATV rides, pot lucks, parties and other outside excursions.

It is a working ranch, so you get to see the horses, cattle and other farm animals. The mountains surround the clean and well laid out campground. The scenery and peacefulness is addictive! We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

To get to this park you travel about 10 miles on a well maintained dirt/gravel road with cute mileage signs along the way so you won't get discouraged. It is well worth the ride!

Deming is a friendly town with lots to see and good shopping choices.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed Benson because it was centrally located between Tucson, Sierra Vista, Wilcox, and Green Valley.

We enjoyed the small town of Benson as it is easy to get around with little traffic. Safeway and Walmart suited most of our everyday needs. There is a large and friendly Ace Hardware as well and a TSC (Tractor Supply Store).

I have heard many good comments about the hospital in town as well!

Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

All staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! Many planned activities and hikes for those wishing to join. Pot luck once a week with a house band performing after. Saturday night dance at least once a month with house band and some talented park members occasionally singing along! Propane in park with pick up and delivery service. Ducks and birds! We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Centrally located between Tucson, Sierra Vista, Wilcox and close to Tombstone. Close to many attractions along with hikes, biking and birding.

The only drawback in the area are the trains, but we have found it is almost impossible to avoid highways and trains if you want shopping and attractions close at hand.

Hidden Valley Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

The family and owners of this quiet and private park, make you feel as you are special guests and are extremely pleased and proud when you stay longer than expected. Owners/workers and long time residences of this park go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The scenery is very pleasurable with mountain ranges all around with hiking and 4 wheel trails throughout. Note: cell coverage is minimal, but internet pretty good! We will defiantly stop by again! We camped at Hidden Valley Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
