Lilac Resort, Ste. Anne, Manitoba

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park makes the claim that it is a tropical resort, with its landscaping it kind of feels that way. This place has everything, weekend entertainment, live bands, pool games etc. We didn't use the washrooms or laundromat but they appeared a little dated but clean. No issues with power or water but the sewer hookup is at the back of the site so a long hose is needed. There is over 330 sites here with 60 being overnight spots. Even with this park being along the Trans-Canada Highway our site was for enough back that noise was not an issue. The above price includes 2 wristbands which must be worn the use the park amenities. Additional wristbands can be purchased for $ 18.00 apiece per day which can get expensive for families with children. We camped at Lilac Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Kenosee Lake, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 5 years ago but don't remember the beach in such a mess. The beach is covered in goose droppings which they just rake into the sand GROSS. The water is green with algae blooms although not a fault of the park. As with all Saskatchewan Provincial Park there is free firewood available. We camped at Moose Mountain Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice spacious site surrounded by trees. There are 7 back in sites situated lakefront. The park had 2 beaches but are unable to use because of the mess left behind by the birds. No wifi and cellphone reception is hit and miss. The washrooms and showers are clean but the plastic curtains in the men's shower are moody and need to be changed. We camped at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cypress Hills InterProvincial Park Centre Block (Terrace Campground), Maple Creek, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the Terrace campground that is a mix of back in and pull thrus sites. Almost every site is uneven, which requires levelling blocks. Although there is no over the air channels there is excellent cell phone reception. There is also wifi available at the visitor centre. You could spend a week here and the kids would be busy everyday. We camped at Cypress Hills InterProvincial Park Centre Block (Terrace Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Steele Resort and RV Park, Fort Steele, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Almost all sites are pull thrus which required minor levelling. Sites could use some cleanup from the pine cones scattered everywhere. There is a 24 hour laundromat an a gas station on site. The store is more for over priced souvenirs than groceries. Also on site is a pavilion to rent for weddings, family reunions etc. When passing through the area again we will look for somewhere else to stay. We camped at Fort Steele Resort and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Scottie's RV Park and Campground, Creston, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Good for an overnight stay as there is not much to do here,no pool,no playground for the kids, just a place to sit back and relax. Washrooms and showers are very clean. Check in was fast and easy as we had reservations. This campground is associated with the mobile home park next door,a few residents were driving through. There are several long term trailers but for the most part they seem to be looked after. We camped at Scottie's RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kootenay River RV Kampground, Castlegar, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This resort was very quiet as it is an adult only resort, the owners greeted us by name as we arrived and guided us into our site. Each site is manicured and watered daily. They also have planted beautiful flowers and young trees everywhere which adds to the beauty of this resort. The bathrooms and showers are new with beautiful upgrades, the nicest we have ever encountered at a resort. Some spots have river views but really any spot in the park is beautul. The owners really take pride in their park and it is very obvious right as you drive in. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who drives through Castlegar. We will definitely return! Riviera RV Park and Campground, Grand Forks, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly hostess who found us a spot along the river after having to leave our last stop abruptly. The campground is situated along highway 3 so there is constant traffic noise. Our site is covered with 6" of sand that was left by the spring flooding. Many long term residents who keep their sites clean. Good for a overnight stop. Wifi is available near the office. We camped at Riviera RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

NK’MIP RV Park, Osoyoos, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

First of all don't arrive before 1pm,because they will make you wait until exactly check in time. We thought this was because they were getting the site ready for our arrival, wrong. The garbage left by the previous campers was not cleaned up,in fact it was not until the next day that it was picked up. Maintenance drove by numerous times without stopping. The site we were put in was partially our fault because we didn't read the reviews on this site. We originally had a full hookup site in the newer area but because we have never been here before we opted for a site near the beach. We still had full hookups minus cable with no discount in the rate. We weren't here to watch tv anyways. In a way it wasn't all that bad because there is a lot of shade so the air conditioner wasn't running all day long like it would have been in the upper levels where there is no shade trees. The 10 kph speed limit rule is not enforced, golf carts can be seen driven at top speed throughout the campground. The lakefront sites are rather small but are also the most desirable spots. The beach is almost nonexistent except for a few small areas of sand to access the water and launch your floaty which we and many others choose to do. It is a private resort so taking beverages to the beach was also most enjoyable. When we are back in the area we would stay here again. We camped at NK’MIP RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

River's Edge RV & Campground, Princeton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We were situated next to the entrance road but because there are only 12 sites in this park traffic wasn't an issue. All sites are back-in and grass covered. The owners added some sand to the banks of the Simikameen River to create a small beach. There are also chairs and table with a fire pit and wood next to the river. Water pressure is high so they lend you a pressure regulator to use. Washrooms and showers are clean but require a little updating. We even had a doe and her fawn walk through our site. But hey, for 25 bucks you can't get a better overnight spot. We camped at River's Edge RV & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Camping, Fort Langley, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here. Sites were easy to get into . Our site had water sewer, cable. There is a pool and cafe in park. They also have canoe and kayak rentals to use on the river which is situated in the park as well. Security gate in , they give you a card to use while your here. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived. We had decided to change spots since our neighbor had several young children running around. We like sites that are a little more peaceful and the staff allowed us to change without any charge. Laundry, shower and washroom facilities were clean. The only negative thing is the campground road is full of potholes. The park is walking distance to the village just over the bridge. Near by restaurants with many shops which we visited while we were here, I would definitely return . We camped at Fort Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Emory Bar RV Park, Hope, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The site that we were in was very large, some have fencing or hedges for site definition. Although the grounds were clean the same can't be said for the showers or washrooms. The showers are small and dated with mold in the tiled grout lines. The campground store has just about anything you could want or need along with a cafe and a gas station. If you like to hear trains every hour this is the place for you! We camped at Emory Bar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Orchard Hill RV Park, Kelowna, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a working farm but it is so quiet you can hear yourself think. They do not allow children under the age of 14 to stay here, which is fine for us. There is a single clothing washer and dryer available,$5.00 for a load. It is about a 15 minute drive to the city beach. When we return we will definitely stay here again.
