Davis Bayou Campground, Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed everything except the noseeums. Site was fairly narrow and asphalt. We are 37' long and didn't have issues getting around the main loop of the park. Our site was pretty level and had two large live oaks one on each side so if you don't have slide toppers they will require sweeping prior to leaving. There is only one dump station in the center of the park so you get practice navigating the loop. Utilities worked well and we were able to get several OTA tv channels. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Davis Bayou Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Pickens Campground, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed 5 nights here in loop E in a back in site. Parked our truck in overflow parking since space at most sites is limited. Really liked the campground and facilities were clean. Interior roads were tight with people and/or trees in the way trying to park and navigate. The campgrounds 50 amp at our site didn't work when we arrived and with it being a holiday weekend it took a few days to get working (we used 30 amp). We are planning to return shortly. Verizon service worked well and we got several OTA tv channels. $20 fee to get in the National Seashore unless you have the Federal pass. We camped at Fort Pickens Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ho-Hum RV Park, Carrabelle, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a week while passing through the area and we were in a pull through site near Hwy 98. Everyone was friendly and fishing from the pier was a lot of fun. Hwy 98 noise at night is annoying, ran the fan in the bedroom to help out. Cable tv was good and utilities worked well. Verizon service was good. We would stay here again. We camped at Ho-Hum RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ocala Sun RV Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a month in the new section. The location is convenient to grocery store, fast food, Cracker Barrel, and I-75. Cable tv was good along with fair WiFi, Verizon service was good. Site was dirt/rock with a concrete patio. Utilities worked well. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Ocala Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Ocala National Forest / Salt Springs Rec Area, Fort McCoy, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 4 nights and really enjoyed the campground and springs. Great to have a USFS campground with full hookups and WiFi. Everyone was very friendly and it was nice to relax. Hookups were great and Verizon was fair and OTA TV had several channels. Not much in a 20 mile radius, but that is part of the charm. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Ocala National Forest / Salt Springs Rec Area in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Louisa State Park, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Loved our stay here, facilities were neatly kept and clean. Utilities worked well along with Verizon and OTA TV channels. The park area is huge and there is a lot to see and do. During the winter they have a food truck on weekends, think it's all week in the summer. Hwy 27 is under construction and down to one lane each way, which was a pain. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Lake Louisa State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Coastline RV Resort, Eastpoint, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This review is for the Coastline RV Campground where we stayed for a month. We were in a seasonal site and it was just long enough for our trailer. We did have a view of the bay and loved the area in general. Fishing is good in the area (and in front of the campground). They are supposed to add wifi to the campground, but not sure the "seasonals" will get to participate. Cable tv was very good, utilities worked well, and Verizon service was excellent. No picnic table and we were prohibited from using the bathroom or laundry. We would return if in the area. We camped at Coastline RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Doll Mt. Campground COE, Ellijay, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, one of those campgrounds you hate to leave. The best COE campground we have found and the area and view were wonderful. Decent OTA tv and Verizon 4G. Back-in site with concrete pad and huge deck, the camphost said we would love the site and he was correct. The turns and slopes getting into the park are a little bit of a challenge, but it is worth it. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity and hated to leave. We camped at Doll Mt. Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Petersburg COE, Appling, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 3 nights, it is definitely off the beaten path, which is a plus for the most part. The section we were in was definitely not big rig friendly. Utilities were good and proximity of our site to the boat ramp worked out well. A few OTA tv signals and a couple of bars of Verizon 4G. We would not stay here again if back in the area, since we know the other camping options available. We camped at Petersburg COE in a Travel Trailer.

The Barnyard RV Park, Lexington, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Barnyard for a couple of nights on our way back from the beach. Easy to find, turn on Oak St. or go around the flea market. Office staff were nice and they stock quite a few RV items. Road in campground has potholes and it somewhat rough. Pull-through accommodated our truck and trailer. Verizon service was good along with decent cable tv. Washer/dryers appeared to be fairly new and worked well. Not a destination site, but is fine for a stop over. Utilities worked well. We camped at The Barnyard RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for about a month and hated to leave. Utilities were very good, WiFi was spotty with many users, and Verizon was very good. Short walk to the ocean was the definite highlight. The office accommodated our request to be close to family that were also camping there. We parked sideways in front of our trailer. We would stay here again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cheraw State Park, Cheraw, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

As much as we wanted to really like this Park we couldn't. We were in site 14 which was not level (worried about sliding downhill even with 4 wheel chocks), site 3 is huge, but it was occupied by an rPod which would have fit on any site in the Park. Overall not very big rig or long trailer friendly. Sand and gravel road coming in. Golf course looked wonderful. Decent Verizon 4G and OTA tv. We would not stay here again if in the area. We camped at Cheraw State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Wateree State Recreation Area, Winnsboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights and loved the campground, our site was waterfront with good spacing from other sites. We had two bars of Verizon 4G and a couple of OTA channels. Site was level and easy to back in. Our only complaint was a single dump station, which took about 25 minutes to wait our turn. We would stay here again if in the area. Coneross Park COE, Townville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed our stay. Place was deserted by Monday evening. Nice COE park, but prefer Springfield COE, which we had stayed at a couple of years ago, if in the area again. Verizon was a spotty one bar at our site and OTA tv was very limited. We had a back in site which was loose small gravel and a large separate picnic/sitting area. We camped at Coneross Park COE in a Travel Trailer.
