Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and quiet. A little ways out of town. I would suggest they put in a bathroom and laundry facility. Had to go into town to do laundry. Many other campgrounds in the area but I would stay here again. We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Truck Camper.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Good location to experience the sights of Nashville. Spaces were small and close together. But - we were not there to stay at the campground. Shuttle service to downtown was good. $10 round trip. Opryland very close to the campground. Many restaurants in close proximity. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

DeWayne Hayes COE, Columbus, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

If you don't like the sound of airplane noise, don't stay here. Air force training base very close. Limited number of sites with sewer and the ones with a good view of the water did not have sewer. This is a typical COE campground. We camped at DeWayne Hayes COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Gulf Military Monument Park, Port Gibson, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground if you are into history. Not too many campers this time of the year. What ever you need take with you because civilization is a long way off. Did get a few ota tv stations. Good hiking in the park but very hilly. We camped at Grand Gulf Military Monument Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The parking spaces were level and short. If the park was full of campers I can see where parking would be an issue.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

My wife loves to sit on the benches and watch the many tug boats that go up and down the Mississippi river through Memphis. Can't tell the difference in train whistles and tug boats but they are loud. The park is very basic and very dusty. Not far off the interstate and close to Memphis. Good stopping off point for a couple of nites. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort, Cotter, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Second time at this park and we chose to stay here because of the location. Both times the park was very dusty with no tv reception. WiFi was great so we down loaded movies. Only a couple of spots where you had a good view of the river. If some of the under brush was cleaned out the view of the river would be great. We will probably check out another campground on our next visit. We camped at Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Percy Quin State Park, Mccomb, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

No signs pointing to camp spaces-ask for a map. Typical state camp ground. Old and sites are pointing in the wrong direction for viewing the lake. The so called premium sites are not so premium-don't waste money. We camped at Percy Quin State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buccaneer State Park, Waveland, Mississippi

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Typical July heat. Not well kept, with junk not picked up and grass not cut. Buy your ice before you pay double at this so called "resort". Did not understand the in and out gates. Sometimes you have two that are open, mostly one, and then about 6 o'clock they are both open. Better system needed. It rained a lot while there so it was like a mud bog. We camped at Buccaneer State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Go to the beach, fish from public piers, crab from the concrete walls. Go to the marinas and buy fresh seafood.

Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort, Cotter, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed during a heat wave, and the humidity was terrible. If you like to fish this is the place to go. It was like a game of musical chairs with reservations. Campers were moved from campsite to campsite, which is really a pain. Positive side was the price of ice was $1.00/per bag. Be advised that rugs are not allowed on the grass so make sure you position your camper as close to the utility outlets as possible. This will allow you to have some room that is not on the grass. We camped at Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.
