Chimney Rock RV Park, Harrodsburg, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Little crowded, several permanent RVs there. Little loud after midnight. Had to pay $10.00 gate card deposit that you get back when leave. We left on Sunday Morning after 8:00 a.m. And no one was on duty to return card and retrieve the $10.00. I left card and my card asking to mail my $10.00, which they did. I also paid $10.00 extra for the pull thru lot, which was in a curve with lots behind you. We camped at Chimney Rock RV Park in a Motorhome.

Columbus-Belmont State Park, Columbus, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Second time we've stayed there. Us another couple did the same last year also. We were right in the Rivers Bluff with great views of the River and River Traffic. One of the best RV parks and definitely the best we've stayed in that was State Ran. We camped at Columbus-Belmont State Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Pines RV Park, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The only negative was it did not offer any kind of TV cable. And being a big UK fan and they were playing on the night we were staying that was a disappointment, but we got over it. The park is really pretty with a fishing lake with a fountain in it. They own a large RV dealership/Service next door as well which if you needed would be great. The Hostess was great on the phone and in person. Highly recommend. We camped at Shady Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Abbeville RV Park, Abbeville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

It was set in a wilderness type setting. Which at first when we were driving in was a little unnerving because its about 1 mile off main road. But it was ok after we got back there. The city owns it and has a Host employee on site. The person you talk to on the phone is not on site. Host was very nice. Lots were gravel and has full hookups except no cable. Quiet and roomy. We camped at Abbeville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Playa Del Rio, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed there 2 nites. The Host and Hostess were very helpful and nice. The spaces were a little tight but plenty of room for our 30' RV and parking space fir our little Ranger pick up. It's on the Canal and just across street from the public beach. We enjoyed all the Mardi Gras activities that were going on. My husband used the showers and I used the laundry and both were clean and well kept. We definitely would recommend it. We camped at Playa Del Rio in a Motorhome.

Colonia del Rey RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights. The personnel in the office were really really nice. Our lot was large and had no trouble parking our 30' Motor Home and our little Ranger pick up truck. We did not use the pool or other recreation amenities but my husband did use the shower a couple times and he says there were very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the area and went driving on the Padre Island Beach. Will come back back. We camped at Colonia del Rey RV Park in a Motorhome.

Houston East RV Resort, Baytown, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The only negative that I can say is that it's right on the Interstate and very noisy. Also getting into it off the Interstate is a little tricky too. Had a little mud running in the concrete from the side where we had to put a garbage bag down to help keep us from tracking the mud into the RV. The people were nice. I used the laundry and the site was good. Would definitely recommend it. We camped at Houston East RV Resort in a Motorhome.
