Flagler by the Sea Campground, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped by on our way back from Orlando. It is right on the water, and dogs are allowed on the beach. So we thought it would be nice. Most of the sites were used by monthly rentals. All of whom fish. Fishing isn't bad but they clean the fish there and then feed the left overs to the seagulls. So needless to say there were seagulls and fish skeletons everywhere. We had to walk down the beach a half a mile to get into the ocean. It was a clean little park, everything seemed very used. There is nothing at all to do in the park but fish and talk to people who live there. Just down the road was an Encore for less and alot more to do. We spent only one night. We camped at Flagler by the Sea Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Skidaway Island State Park, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Great Campground, it is a little trek to get to. The road RT204 has not kept up with the housing growth in the area. They had great activities for the kids. We camped at Skidaway Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here to go to the Shuttle launch and Cape Canaveral. It was fine. The pool was not very warm but the laundry worked great. Everybody was friendly and the park was kept up nicely. We camped at Manatee Hammock Campground in a Travel Trailer.
