Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort, Orange Beach, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice brand new RV park on the north side of the island. Canal Road. It has only been open for about a month. 3/4 of a mile east of the toll bridge, very close to the Wharf. Spots spaced apart nicely. Pretty lake and five star pool and clubhouse with exercise equipment. Very good wifi. They could have a few more bath houses, but that will probably come in time. Classy park with a beautiful entrance. Came for two weeks, staying a month. Highly recommend! Units have to 12 years or less, unless approved by management. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Donorma RV Park, Surprise, Arizona

Chickens in the yard in the Phoenix metro area. Had uneven sites, cracked concrete pads. First and last visit. We camped at Donorma RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park. The greenery is coming back to life in a big way now. The pool is OPEN and beautiful! Large spotless new laundry. Wifi coming really soon. Transmitters are up all over the park just waiting for the power to be turned on. We have a 40 foot 5th wheel and still have room to move around on our site. Some sites are a short walk to the beach, just across the highway. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

River Town Campground, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Bare bones, but the only place in Vicksburg with enough room for a 40 foot 5th wheel to pull in safely. Very nice owners and close to all of the casino action. Pet friendly. Beware, though, a beacon from the airport across the street flashes into the bedroom window all night, if you are close to the main street. The entrance is tough if you are going south, you have to do a U-turn to get into it and it can be tricky with a large RV. We camped at River Town Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Anaheim RV Village, Anaheim, California

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Expensive, but not out of the norm for an area by Disneyland. If you have pets, this is the only place that I would recommend in the area. They are very pet friendly and that is why we always go back to their park. Sites are pretty narrow and there are far too many picnic tables sitting around. Very large laundry room. A guard watches the park nightly in his golf cart during the hours that the office is closed. if Disneyland has fireworks, you get a front row look at them. There is a school next door, but it seemed pretty quiet for a large metro area. We have been there twice and will go back when business takes us back to the LA area. We camped at Anaheim RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West, Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Spaces way too tight for a large 5th wheel, next to impossible to get into spots that are not on the end! Way overpriced to not have cable TV and the WIFI was very iffy. I will give them points for security, it was almost overdone. Too many junky permanent residents. We camped at Destiny RV Resort / Phoenix West in a Fifth Wheel.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Best pet walk ever! Spotless park, the spots are gravel and groomed between each guest. Great morning breakfast, hotel style. Maybe a little tight, but we had a deluxe end spot. We will be back again next time we are in Las Cruces. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Little Pine Cabins and RV Park, Atoka, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park in the country. The owner was very nice and even made a trip to tell us thanks and goodbye when we left. It is a no nonsense place, just outside of the gates for McGee Creek State Park in the Atoka OK area. We were there to visit relatives, so we didn't spend much time at the campground, but it was really nice and the view of the pollution free night sky was spectacular. It is very out of the mainstream, but I would highly recommend this small park to anyone who might be in this area. It is actually closer to Antlers, but it has an Atoka address. We will go back every time we visit our family in that area. We camped at Little Pine Cabins and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this RV park! It is a jewel, and seems to be pretty much a hidden treasure. Very few RVs were there. It needs more customers, I want to be able to make that our home base when we are in the Panhandle next year, as well. Free everything, laundry, wifi, cable TV, clean and tidy and long drive through spots. Just beyond the infamous "Cadillac Ranch" on I40 just west of Amarillo. Nice and warm, clean showers. Just watch out for the wind, it can be rather strong at times. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the top three RV parks in the country to me. I love Williams and it is a good bet that it will snow when we are there in January/February yearly. Level sites, not muddy, very clean laundry, very close to everything in town. I actually pray to be snowed in here to get to stay longer! Will be back as long as our business takes us to the West Coast yearly. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We had a deluxe site. Bathrooms were spotless. Love the view of the Mandalay Bay and the Luxor from the park. Great dog walk areas. Best park in the country, as far as I am concerned. Very good security and a guard gate at the entrance. I did take one point off for very expensive wi-fi. We used our cell modems and got excellent results. Beware, the Silverton shuttle will pick you up, but will NOT bring you back to the Oasis! I found out the hard way and had to take a cab from the mall back to the park! We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I wish that I could give this park 100! Seriously, it was wonderful. New, not overgrown and had a resort feel. It is very quiet, even though it is just 2 blocks off of the parkway. I can not think of one thing that wasn't perfect. Pigeon Forge was bumper to bumper and this was a sanctuary around mass chaos. We will be back for sure and soon! Loved, loved, loved this little place. We stayed and traveled to Knoxville for a ball game, very short drive on 441. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hoover RV Park, Hoover, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A great convenient clean place to stay in the Birmingham area. We come up here quite often for weekends. There are dozens of places to eat and shop within 5 minutes of the park. It is pretty much just a place to stay, unless you are going to a Birmingham Barons baseball game. Regions Park is part of the same complex. Large spots, 50 amp and a great cable TV hookup. Ultra modern and clean and in a very upscale part of Hoover. We camped at Hoover RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of the best camping trips that we have ever taken. We had a spot on the lake, just across the lake from the pavilion and the beach. The beach is a short 5 minute bike ride, or 10 minute walk from the western side of the campground. Very large sites, we have a 40 foot 5th wheel with 4 slides and had plenty of move-around space. The park is still recovering from the devastating hurricanes, but the greenery is coming back fast this summer. Going back in August for two weeks, can't wait. We never found the WIFI, but the cell modems worked out perfectly. Fast signal. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Town & Country RV Park and Campground, Savage, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A nice park, with easy access to Twin Cities. It is rather difficult to find on the first visit, but not the park's fault, it is a city RV park. The facility was very clean and the staff would rank a 10 on friendliness. The full timer's spots were clean and their RVs were nice. A strong WIFI signal and a cable TV service that we only wished we had at home. Would be back for sure if we are even in the area again. Not too far from the Mall Of America and a light rail system to Twins game. We camped at Town & Country RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
