Surf & Stream Campground, Toms River, New Jersey

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

As many others have said, it is a seasonal or full timer park where nothing is enforced -- dogs without leashes, loud music, dirty/cluttered sites. In the office they have a flat top grill and right next to it I saw the manager put a bowl of cat food on counter and let the cat jump up to eat. It smelled like cat urine in the office. Bathrooms are blue - floor to ceiling. Spartan but clean. Wifi was only saving grace of park. We camped at Surf & Stream Campground in a Truck Camper.

Junipers Reservoir RV Resort, Lakeview, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very tidy facility with lots of trails to walk and bike on. Fished in reservoir since it is on private property and didn't need a fishing license.

The sites are not large but easy pull-throughs and angled to give good views of mountains. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

Quiet Oaks RV Park, Kinder, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The website and the office staff really paint a different picture than the reality. Most of the sites on are on grass - not even shell or rock - so during our stay it was very muddy. The Wi-Fi was not stable and kicked us off almost every 1 - 3 minutes. The bathrooms are not heated. We specifically wanted to fish in the pond - it is very small.

No picnic tables or grills. We camped at Quiet Oaks RV Park in a Truck Camper.
