Las Cruces KOA, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are groomed each day but some inconsiderate folks still drive through unoccupied sites. Friendly staff, beautiful views, great place to spend a night or a month, or longer. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Great restaurants, especially if you love New Mexican food, wonderful farmers market, wineries nearby, short drive to Palomas, Mexico, no train noise and almost no road noise.

Isleta Lakes & RV Park, Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

I thought previous reviews were harsh. I found this campground to be nice and well maintained. My car battery needed a boost and security came out quickly and provided this, and refused to accept a tip. My rating on value is low because on the second night of my stay, my sister joined me, so I asked about having another car at my site. The charge was $20.00 plus tax. The clerk said that would be good for an extended period, but would be the same for just overnight. Rather pricey and they should have a lower price for just one night. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't bother eating at the casino, service was extremely slow, and the food was okay but not worth the wait.

St. Louis RV Park, St. Louis, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great location for touring the area. Owners very helpful in suggesting things to do. Wifi worked great. Neighborhood isn't the greatest, probably best not to explore any further north on Jefferson, but I never had any problems. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Soulard area to southeast has great restaurants and the country's oldest continually operating farmers market.
