Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived and were greeted warmly by staff. Although they were scheduled to close the office for the night, we were escorted to our site. It has been mentioned that sites are not level, and that was the case with us. We didn't find it too difficult to set up, however. There are some sites that were sitting low in a rain storm, and got very wet. The staff came over with pumps to clear out water. Pancake breakfasts twice a week! Restrooms very clean! We will return. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort, Freedom, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived late. There was a packet on the office porch, and well written instructions to our site. When we arrived at our site, there were other campers there to assist as well. Our site was on the water. Even though it was late in the season, everything was available. Very nice staff, that offered help when we needed. We will go back. We camped at Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Dorset RV Park, Dorset, Vermont

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived at the campground, and were told that we would not have a site with sewer, even though we had booked a site with sewer well in advance. We were told that we couldn't be guaranteed a particular site. We had confirmed some months earlier that we would have a site with water, electric and sewer. After all that, we were still charged for pump out service. We didn't ask for a particular site. As for wi-fi, it only works if you are in a close proximity to the office. We are not certain if we will return. We camped at Dorset RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
