Whispering Pines RV Resort and Campground, Mancelona, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground! All hookups were very good, site was level, owner and his helpers were polite and friendly. Loved the quiet in the park and the scenery was beautiful. Showers and restrooms clean, and received network TV channels with antenna. Wi-Fi worked, but had a few dead times during the week. Rate was with weekly discount. Will definitely return. We camped at Whispering Pines RV Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fair Harbor RV Park, Perry, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly front office, gave me a choice of spots with no reservation. Chose one on the lake. Bath houses were cleaned more than once a day and are fairly new. Sites are close together but level. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Has a small dog park, which was welcome. Many washers and dryers, $2.00 each. Pretty quiet despite proximity to highway. Goats on property were fun to watch. Enjoyed our stay! We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A Big Wheel RV Park, Saint Marys, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in a very pretty setting. Workers are friendly and seem to be always doing something to make the park better. Good access to naval base, has small dog park on site but there is a better one on base. Had a level paved site with convienient hookups. No cable but wi-fi was dependable during my 10 day stay. Most sites are pull-thru and had a mix of snow birds and over nighters. Pot luck on Sunday afternoons. Bring deet as there were some pretty hungry gnats during our visit. I would definitely stay here again if in area. We camped at A Big Wheel RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Corbin / Laurel Lake KOA, Corbin, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed on way south, easy on/off I-75. They put me in long pull-through deluxe site and paid full price even though no use of park amenities because of winter cold. Escort to site, nice people in office, would consider stay again for overnight stop. We camped at Corbin / Laurel Lake KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Eagle's Roost RV Resort, Lake Park, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stay very pleasant and convenient heading south. Right off 1-75, there was some noise, but not bad. Cable and WiFi worked well. Campsite was in nice setting, room between sites, on paved pad. Roads paved and just a bit tight. Even allowed to wash unit. No fire rings. Would definitely consider this campground again. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Lakeland RV Resort, Lakeland, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for a week, campsite very unkempt, un-level, between two seasonal sites that were pretty rough looking and just 40 feet from I-4 freeway. One neighbors site was very littered and disgusting. Campground in overall good location for activities in Lakeland area, and had nice pool and clubhouse area, small dog park which was very dirty. Mostly seasonal sites, mainly friendly people. You have to pay for wifi, and cable. Many rules there, but witnessed that most were being broken. Would look for another campground next time. We camped at Lakeland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
