Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground), Meadville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Beware! I rarely review sites as a full-timer however I feel compelled to comment on this one. The route zig-zags through town taking 30 minutes from I 79 to the site. The gate requires someone to trigger to let you in. If using after hours you are requested to pay for a gate keycard. I believe it was refundable. Some pull throughs are fairly level. Sites are on rolling hills. 20+ sites but all for larger rigs placed side by side unnecessarily. Leveling was a real problem for us. Staff experience was less than positive. The campground was well maintained however we would not return. FYI - the road is currently being resurfaced between town and campsite location in summer of 2016. We camped at Meadville KOA (Was Brookdale Family Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.
