Cedar Key RV Resort, Cedar Key, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent experience at Cedar Key RV Resort! The campground is professionally laid-out, with plenty of room on every site. Their clubhouse is spacious and nicely decorated, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The office staff as well as the maintenance crew really help give this place a true resort atmosphere. The park is dog-friendly, other campers were gracious, and the laundry/restroom facilities were great. It was close to the center of Cedar Key, and their shops and restaurants. Would recommend reservations, as the park is often full. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We camped at Cedar Key RV Resort in a Motorhome.

McKinney Campground, Acworth, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoy staying here, and do so often during the spring, summer and fall. Many of the campsites overlook the lake, and the scenery is beautiful. There is some noise from passing trains, and the road into the campground is winding and long, but well worth a visit. It is a few miles off the Interstate, but easy to find. There are several stores, restaurants and gas stations in town, a short drive away. We camped at McKinney Campground in a Motorhome.

Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground), Perryville, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We used to stay here every year for the past five years on our trips between the Midwest and the southern states. In calling for reservations today (3/18/2015), we were informed that they are now a "Jellystone" park, and their rates have doubled, to $60.14 per night for an RV site. (Their website still shows the previous prices of $35.99 per night for a 50 amp site). It was overpriced then - the only saving grace was the convenience of being located right off the highway. Gravel sites are very uneven, sewer lines are uphill, roads are narrow, office is often closed, and many permanent residents live there in rundown trailers. At the increased price, there is absolutely no reason to stay here. We camped at Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a decent Chinese buffet nearby, and Walmart and several gas stations are close.
