Terre Haute KOA, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A decent koa experience. On the expensive side (what KOA isn't? ). This is a fun park for kids with a zoo and rides. Plenty of helpers and service is good. Needs to be about $5-$10 less. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Musicland Kampground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Only stayed 2 days, but were very impressed. This is a perfect spot - this is a "stay put, go on foot" campground. Most of Branson is easily accessible. We only drove our dually once (to get the Showboat Belle). They have pretty good discounts on show tickets, though we had already booked out tickets earlier. We didn't use the bathroom, but did use the laundry and it was a nice facility with plenty of washers and dryers. Getting parked was easy with their valet person. Everyone was very friendly and helpful (we called multiple times for directions and a mobile mechanic - we never felt like we were being a nuisance). We will come here again on our next stay. We camped at Musicland Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The office staff didn't tell us about the walkway shortcut at the top of the park (I guess it is on the map though - we just missed it initially). The first day we took the route out of the entrance. If you're going to left side of town take the walkway - will save you a couple hundred yards.
