Rainier View RV Park - ( Adult ), Graham, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Months ago I made a reservation at this park, sent a check for the deposit and recently had to cancel a few weeks before our arrival date. They are keeping the deposit. As a successful business person, I will never understand how any RV park expects to build a business by abusing their future, present and future clients like this. I will never consider these people and their park and take this an example of how they think, do business and represent their unprofessional philosophy towards their customers. We camped at Rainier View RV Park - ( Adult ) in a Motorhome.

Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts), Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This resort is not for everyone. It is expensive and has a feel of being exclusive. The staff is often seen as being impersonal and cold. That said, it is the finest class A motor home resorts we have experienced so far and would consider it a leader in what will become a standard in the future for class A RV resorts. It is not perfect, but it's close. We camped at Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort (Formerly Outdoor Resorts) in a Motorhome.

Maryhill State Park, Goldendale, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Park like setting on the banks of the Columbia River. Make reservations as the park gets full by 3:00 PM. Noise from trains and truck jack brakes the only minor problem however things quiet down after about 10:00 PM. Liked it so much we stayed an additional night but had to change spaces. Would stay here again. We camped at Maryhill State Park in a Motorhome.

Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed), Toppenish, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Good location just off HWY 97 across the street from Legends Casino. Park has a spacious layout. Took some time to level the coach. Place seems to need additional attention to keep it in good condition. Be sure to observe the many wonderful hand painted murals on buildings in Toppenish. Would stay there again. We camped at Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A like new park located between I-5 and 99. It appears the facility is designed by non-RVers as the spaces were laid out with the cement patios too far back from most class A motor home steps so one needed to step in the flower beds to get in and out of the rig. Being so close to I-5 is both convenient and noisy as a major truck stop is right up the street with big rigs coming and going all night. When the wind blows the wrong way, you will get a whiff of the cattle pens down the road that will make your eyes tear. It is a good place to spend a few nights on your way north or south on I-5 or 99. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA, Visalia, California

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As hard as the owners try, and they do, this facility is just not up to the average standards of a quality RV Park. In addition, when the wind blew from the wrong direction, we had to close all windows, and doors because of the foul smell from the pens near by that housed cattle waiting to be slaughtered. It was totally over whelming. Sadly, this park was the only place we found in the Fresno area that was not a converted mobile park, but next time we will look much harder to find a better one somewhere in the area.. We camped at Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

Excellent park with large pull through spaces. Ideal for one or two nights stay however the 24 hour a day I-5 big rig road noise would get old very fast. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an excellent, small, well-managed, clean, quaint RV Park complete with shade trees, continental breakfast, running creek with croaking frogs, sparkling swimming pool, and an environment that makes you want to stay for weeks instead of days. Spaces are a bit tight but can be carefully navigated. Staff is friendly and dedicated. The rest room and shower facilities are spotless as is the rest of the park. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Redding in a Motorhome.
