Frog Hollow Campground RV Park, Grenada, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night while in transit to final destination. Very clean, lots of room, wide roads allowing easy enter and exit to site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Since it was Thanksgiving day most people were inside or gone. We camped at Frog Hollow Campground RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beachfront RV Park and Resort, Freeport, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Kudos!! We have been here for almost 4 months starting the end of November 2014 and hate the thought of having to leave. Location, location, location. Right at the edge of the dunes and about 200 feet to water's edge. Park expanded last year and has multiple pull-through sites as well as a number of back-in sites with a separate dog pen. They rent golf carts, kayaks, umbrellas and lawn chairs. Excellent Wi-Fi. Guests are friendly; quite a few refinery/chemical plant workers but campers and sites are well maintained. The park is well groomed and I am sure there are more activities during summer months. As 1st time snowbirds this was an excellent introduction to the RV life style. Thanks to the owner and staff for a wonderful stay. Rate is based on monthly rate. We camped at Beachfront RV Park and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of burger places: Sharkey's, the Jetty Shack, and Kitty's Purple Cow. Bingo Jones' a funky, fun place that serves a Migas (a bean tostada topped with a fried egg). There are also a couple fancier restaurants - Edgewater and the Red Snapper which are great for that special occasion.

Be sure to bring bottled water as the city water is OK for washing but not for drinking or cooking. The city is working to correct the situation.
