Blue Ridge Lodge and RV Park, Morganton, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Small, quaint campground with wonderful views of mountains. Quiet and restful on our stay. Sites are close but not a problem for us. Used satellite so can't comment on cable. WiFi connection was good at site. Owner was helpful with directions and area attractions. Close to downtown Blue Ridge. We will be back! We camped at Blue Ridge Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt/Chatt South KOA), Ringgold, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Next to I-75, so if placed in monthly rental section, traffic noise is terrible. Didn't sleep at all due to very busy interstate noise all night. Sites gravel. Not level. Did not use facilities so can't comment on those. No longer a Good Sam campground. Very convenient to restaurants and Chickamauga battlefield. Many apparently long term guests but that was not a problem for us. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt/Chatt South KOA) in a Motorhome.

Desoto Caverns Park, Childersburg, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Seems only teenagers running park and amusement park. Sites unlevel and if raining, are muddy. Sites 1, 2, 3 are not pull-throughs; if you are in site 2 you can not get out without rigs on site 1 or 3 moving. No cable, and large pines obscure satellite reception. Wi-Fi was fair, surprisingly. In serious need of some maintenance for an RV park. Would not stay here again. This is my first park review in 5 years RVing. Just that disappointed! We camped at Desoto Caverns Park in a Motorhome.
