Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed in this park from 12/2010 until 7/2015. I was one of those dreaded semi-permanent working people. It is a nice park. It is quiet. Only complaints I had were the transients that thought they should take up the parking in my site. I have been in one of the pull thru sites (very long, plenty of room for the 40 ft bus, food cart and jeep) and one of the back in sites. It is graveled which they keep raked which keeps the goats heads to a minimum. Yes there are a lot of rules but they are mostly common sense and about not giving out the bathroom codes. I did not like the picnic tables as they were fiberglass and the fibers would sticker me thru my clothes. There has been a problem with that in the past. I liked this park. I felt safe here. I would stay here again. I recommend this park. I stayed here in a school bus conversion. We camped at Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Redbox is across the street at the Stripes. They also have a little diner inside the store. I've heard it is pretty good but never ate there myself. Other than that, you need to drive or take the city bus which stops at the NB & SB corner of Brasher & S. Main.

Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects monthly rate of $425. Length of stay from Dec 2011 - Sept 2015. This is a quiet park. It does have a lot of workers but this is in an Oil Patch area. Some shade (NM parks tend to not have much in the way of shade). 30 amp electric (50 amp extra). Basic Cable. Weatherproof (heat taped) water pipe (in ground). Wifi worked fairly well most of the time. The bathhouse was clean. I use my own. The laundry was clean. I use my own. Ample parking for towed plus one or two in my site. The pad was level/gravel. This is a school bus conversion friendly park. I stayed here in a 40 ft school bus. We camped at Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The picnic tables are fiberglass. You do not want to sit at them as you will get fiberglass slivers in your skin.
