Route 66 RV Park, Edgewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A great place to pull of the road. Wow, some big rigs stayed here. A Prevost bus on gravel with a huge 2 story trailer pulled in with ease. Only a few huge sites and they filled up on a week night. Big guys do not need to unhook. A Denny's, Chili's coming, and a Great Groceries and a super Walmart all in about a mile. Even Autozone and O'Reilly Auto Parts 1/4 mile away. We needed Rotella and it was with in walking distance. The park manager even offered us a ride. We walked and ate supper at Chili Hills around the corner while out getting oil and the food was great. Small town with everything you need to rest just 27 miles east of ALB, N.M. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jellystone Park at Whispering Pines (formerly Whispering Pines RV Reso, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Wow. A big place. A little tight for 45 ft to get through with trailer but we did just fine. The host had a service guy guide us in and watch our blind side. Nice pools. Nice pools. Adults and kids. Plenty of stuff for kids. A nice BBQ open area with large pit for anyone to use. We will visit here again on our way home to New Orleans. We camped at Jellystone Park at Whispering Pines (formerly Whispering Pines RV Reso in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a nice morning cafe with good breakfast right on site. Hidden in the deep woods. Yogi's Place is so cool.
