Ocean Cove Campground, Jenner, California

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Great campsite overlooking the ocean. Whales right off shore and close enough for photos. Tons of wildlife and fishing. It has a nice store with all the essentials and friendly staff. It can get a little windy on the point but calmer back in the trees. We stayed in a trailer and we're very comfortable. No hookups but the location and views make up for it.

We'll be back for sure. We camped at Ocean Cove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Eagle's Nest RV Park, Tionesta, California

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We've been coming here for years and will return again as long as possible. The park is clean and roomy with tons of space to roam. Pet friendly and the owners live on site. They provide maps of the area and recommendations regarding places to go and eat and visit. We're treated like one of the family. They have special weekly rates as well as monthly.

Pull through spaces with power, water and sewer to all campsites. All sites are grass which is nice. Go PAST the first RV park to the end of the road and you won't be disappointed. It's a great place to camp. We camped at Eagle's Nest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Great fishing at Medicine Lake only a few miles away. Tons of deer, sometimes in camp, antelope and quail. Ducks and geese at Tule Lake and Klamath. Caving at the Lava Beds and great hiking trails. You can spend as much time as you'd like and never get bored.

Try Captain Jack's restaurant for meals. Great place where you'd never expect to find one.
