Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of the Black Canyon, Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

If you come here during times that night temps are below freezing, you must bring winter protection for THEIR spigots and pipes. They do not protect their own water spigots from freezing. If you do not have this they will turn off your water. This is an expensive park, and I really don't think customers should be required to provide winter protection for their equipment. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of the Black Canyon in a Motorhome.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed her for a month, only because of the location. I have a 25' Mercedes Sprinter conversion MH, and I was offered a choice of two sites, both too small for a rig longer than 26 feet. These sites have no grass, non-working cable, and bad wi-fi reception. There were 45 empty large pull-thru sites, but even though I was willing to pay the higher rate I was not allowed one of the better sites. The assistant manager said it was because "a bunch of larger rigs might arrive late without reservations". I had reservations, but I was allowed only inferior sites. the assistant manager is very rude, and other guests told me that she is very rude to them as well. I will not stay here again. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Motorhome.
