Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful wooded park right on Oak Creek and walking distance to Uptown Santa Fe. Very well maintained. Great and friendly staff. Beautiful views, wildlife and all exterior lights out at 10 pm made sleeping very peaceful. Good Verizon and AT&T 4G signals. Bring an extra long sewer hose and a sloping hose support, or they'll require you to buy one from them. Store has next to zero supplies, no food or drinks whatsoever. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Basically a striped parking lot with a few patio tables. Sites are very close together. Location is great right in the city; but it's the other end of the city from old town what all the action is. Goos Verizon and AT&T 4G signals. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Exactly what I want in a park...quiet, natural setting in or near an urban center. Site 25 on Coyote Loop in probably the best in the park. It's a handicapped site with a nice deck, table and fire ring. There are no close neighbors and it backs on the preserve with lots of wildlife. Satellite is kind of tricky with trees. Good Verizon and AT&T 4G signals.
Worst part, you can only stay 14-consecutive days. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept older park with friendly and helpful staff. The rates are very high, sites very close together, you walk out your front door to your neighbor with whom you share the patio, no privacy. My site was very unlevel and with air leveling, I had to use blocks to level. If you want to go to Denver, they're pretty much the only game in town. Nice meeting/recreation/gym area. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Truckee River RV Park, Truckee, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Great location near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. The park is clean with friendly staff, a well-stocked market, supplies, deli. Roads are steep, sites are close together. Nice quiet setting. In a 38' Motorhome I was as big as I would want to manage. This is a relaxing, rustic no-frills park. Great value. We camped at Truckee River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Truckee River RV Park, Truckee, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Great location near Reno, Truckee and Tahoe. The staff were all friendly and SUPERIOR. Sites range from close, 30AMP, dirt surrounded sites for monthly folks to larger, 50AMP grassy sites for more lucrative weekenders. No cable; didn't use WiFi. AT&T 4G was excellent; close to I-80; expect some road and construction noise and 30% full-timers. I enjoy casual, non-pretentious, non-"resort" parks and Truckee River RV Park fit my bill perfectly! We camped at Truckee River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A bit tight but totally navigable by big-rigs, just with a little planning on where to park during check-in.

Big Pines RV Park, Crescent, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

I can't say enough about this park, the layout, feel and service by the owners and staff. I stayed about 6-weeks and it was incredible. Quiet, but not too quiet. Remote, but not too remote. Full RV camping, but not too primitive. Cable and WiFi were both Excellent. AT&T 4G excellent with my booster. Bruce and Donna are the best. I'll definitely be back! We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, nice location, accommodating staff. I just wish they would come clean and stop misrepresenting Cable, WiFi and a Heated Pool. No WiFi or Cable - been saying they're in the process of adding it for two years. The pool is "mildly" (if at all) solar heated and is only comfortable for swimming when it's 90 to 100+ during the day. Otherwise, and knowing this, I would stay again and recommend. We camped at JGW RV Park in a Motorhome.

Candlestick RV Park, San Francisco, California

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Let's face it, it's in San Francisco and $1,100 monthly is not bad. Sites are Way too close. WiFi sketchy, no cable, local TV okay. Mostly full-timers/construction guys. Lot's of groups come in-and-out. AT&T 4G good. Roads in and about are BAD. Right across from Candlestick park being demolished - Lot's of noise. We camped at Candlestick RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pyramid Lake RV Resort, Gorman, California

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Spent one quick night traveling from AZ to Nor-Cal. Lot's of full-timers with unkempt sites; looks like it used to have it's hay day; but it well beyond that now. Okay from 6pm to 6am the next day; that's it. NO At&T or Verizon; no WiFi or Cable. We camped at Pyramid Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
