Benson I-10 RV Park, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Checked in here for an overnight stay. Park is close to I10 and is close to Denny's, which is convenient. The manager was nice and checked us in quickly. Wi-fi costs extra but free cable. They advertise that they fill propane tanks, but when we inquired we were told that was only for weekly or monthly guests. Ok place for an overnight stay only. We camped at Benson I-10 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hill Country RV Resort and Event Center , Medina, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate is based on a monthly stay. We loved this park! It is set in the hill country and is convenient to all the nearby state parks and Fredericksburg and Bandera.
Our site was level and shaded. There is a dog run as well as a nature trail for walking the dog. There is also a large off leash area by the river.
The only thing that kept me from rating this park a 10 was the so so wifi and only 4 washer/dryers. We camped at Hill Country RV Resort and Event Center in a Fifth Wheel.

Outlet (Melvern) COE, Melvern, Kansas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 2 weeks here and loved every moment. The sites are spacious with trees and views of the fishing pond. Many opportunities for hikes and fishing. Only drawback is the distance to a sizeable grocery store (approx 20 miles). Bathrooms are clean and there is a laundry on site. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Outlet (Melvern) COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Shallow Creek Golf & RV Resort, Gladewater, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very clean and spacious. It has a golf course on two sides which provides recreation as well as beautiful scenery. It is conveniently located to Interstate 20. This is a good site for overnight stops or visiting nearby historic towns such as Jefferson. Excellent wifi!!! Parts of the park are still under construction, such as the dog park, or we would give a 9 or 10 rating. Management has been very helpful and professional. As stated in other reviews, there is a slight dip in the road when entering the park. We did not have any problem with this. Definitely, would stay here again. We camped at Shallow Creek Golf & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Padre Palms RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park is small and dirty. We were there 15 days and there were areas where trash lay the entire time. It is located next to a wastewater treatment facility and we had to drive through a questionable neighborhood to get to the park. It does not look like the pictures posted on their website. Management was sometimes unfriendly and impolite. Would not stay here again. We are full time RV'ers and left early due to issues previously stated. We camped at Padre Palms RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent park! The park is beautiful and has excellent amenities including planned activities and an indoor heated pool. There are 3 levels with one level having concrete pads, while the other two are gravel. Sites are level. We had a gravel site on the 3rd level. It was not as scenic or spacious as the other 2 levels, but well maintained. The dog park is awesome! Wifi is so-so, but free. Management was very helpful and directed us to area attractions. There is no on-site propane, but we found a dealer nearby. This is a great park for full time RV'ers looking for a place to spend the winter. However, it is a significant drive to area national parks and other tourist sites. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
