Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was not level-at all. We had to use our Anderson levelers to get level side to side. Then we had to raise the tongue jack so high that the trailer shook when we walked inside.

Very noisy: street noise, big rigs coming and going, a high pitched vacuum went on most of the afternoon. Sites are very close together; there is zero privacy. Restrooms were adequate, but I never got hot water -only warm.

We were given the Good Sam discount and paid $55 plus a "campers fee" of $8.25. I reqret reserving 2 nights, but there are no refunds.

I would look elsewhere in the future. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail), Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

What a bargain! Great views, open spacious sites, everything worked (except the wifi). After we got settled, the owner came out to see if everything was OK.

In spite of the closeness to the interstate, it was surprisingly quiet. I wish we could have stayed longer. We camped at Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail) in a Travel Trailer.
