Victory RV Park and Campground, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty low-key out of the way campground. Not much to do in area, but this was just an overnight stop for us. Roads from interstate were good, but a little tight. Nice owners. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very fairly priced campground in proximity of Pigeon Forge. Only true negatives were that the WiFi is pretty useless, the river sites aren't really scenic, and the concrete pads on gravel sites are not very well placed for modern day larger rigs. Big Rig friendly. There are quite a few seasonal sites here, but NOT of the park model / "trailer trash" variety. A ton of golf carts running around. Sites are pretty well maintained and very well spaced. More amenities than you'll ever need, including a Dog Wash booth ($10 fee). We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful MH only Resort. Owner sites, many on their rental program. Each site is unique, with some being more upgraded than others, so look closely at the photos on website when booking. You can even choose other available sites upon arrival if you wish. Beautiful pool, tennis courts, etc. Easy bike ride to Coligny Beach. I've visited this Resort twice and am in the process of buying a site as we like it so much. (#18 which will be on rental program soon...) We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tremont Outdoor Resort, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I love this CG and it's nice river sites. Especially during the offseason when their rates are very affordable. I've seen negative reviews in the past about the staff, but don't understand them - I've stayed at this CG on and off for 15 years and the only hassle was poor cable service (which is now fixed, and had nothing to do with the staff). Seems pricey during summer season, but it is nice, and very convenient to The GSMNP. We camped at Tremont Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.

Cookout... Most of the local restaurants aren't worth visiting.
