Indian Creek Campground, Deer Lodge, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Booked site for 2 nights Sept 2017. Upon arrival they were putting me in an overflow lot on gravel curve of big Rig section. Wife asked for an alternate location, which was given, but woman in office was extremely rude. Quite a few seasonal RVs in here. They also try to charge $2 daily fee for Cable use even when you plan on using satellite. Their free WiFi was horrible. No picnic table. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

PROS - friendly staff and location CONS - most of the sites are tiny, some even 100% asphalt like a parking lot. Looks nice street side, but nothing special inside. Our site was nicer than most, but the hookups were inconvenient - sewer at center rear of coach rather than on drivers side, and shared utility posts with neighbor. We stayed at a nearby State Park. Leaving there for this CG was a mistake. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Sioux Falls KOA, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very convenient to interstate when driving through area. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wasn't impressed with sites at all, but my opinion might be slanted due to heavy rains during visit - water pooled about 4" deep on both sides of RV, and trash dumpsters were overflowing. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Motorhome.

Worlds of Fun Village, Kansas City, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very accessible big-rig friendly campground when traveling thru KC area. Sites are large level concrete pads. I was a tad disappointed that my Lot wasn't clean on arrival as grill had recently been pulled out of ground by Resort and they didn't pick up charcoal. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Big Pine Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this CG for a 3 day stay. Travelled with another couple and both sites (26 & 27) offered level and extremely spacious sites. Sites were in heavy pine area nestled next to National Park land. Owners are wonderful people. You are escorted to sites and assisted with back-in. Large bundles of firewood sold for $4 and that includes delivery! We camped at Big Pine Campground in a Motorhome.

Marion Campground & RV Park, Marion, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice CG to spend a night or two while traveling through the area. This is not a "destination" park. Fairly priced and very well managed. We camped at Marion Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Victory RV Park and Campground, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Pretty low-key out of the way campground. Not much to do in area, but this was just an overnight stop for us. Roads from interstate were good, but a little tight. Nice owners. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very fairly priced campground in proximity of Pigeon Forge. Only true negatives were that the WiFi is pretty useless, the river sites aren't really scenic, and the concrete pads on gravel sites are not very well placed for modern day larger rigs. Big Rig friendly. There are quite a few seasonal sites here, but NOT of the park model / "trailer trash" variety. A ton of golf carts running around. Sites are pretty well maintained and very well spaced. More amenities than you'll ever need, including a Dog Wash booth ($10 fee). We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful MH only Resort. Owner sites, many on their rental program. Each site is unique, with some being more upgraded than others, so look closely at the photos on website when booking. You can even choose other available sites upon arrival if you wish. Beautiful pool, tennis courts, etc. Easy bike ride to Coligny Beach. I've visited this Resort twice and am in the process of buying a site as we like it so much. (#18 which will be on rental program soon...) We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Little Arrow Outdoor Resort (formerly Tremont Outdoor Resort), Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I love this CG and it's nice river sites. Especially during the offseason when their rates are very affordable. I've seen negative reviews in the past about the staff, but don't understand them - I've stayed at this CG on and off for 15 years and the only hassle was poor cable service (which is now fixed, and had nothing to do with the staff). Seems pricey during summer season, but it is nice, and very convenient to The GSMNP. We camped at Little Arrow Outdoor Resort (formerly Tremont Outdoor Resort) in a Motorhome.
