Forrest County RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We have gotten in a habit stopping here for an overnight on our way to Gulf Shores. Once again, it's a great place to do just that. All the hookups worked great and everything around the park was neat and clean. Rarely have we been here and there be more than 3-4 other campers in the park. While it may not be a destination park for many, it does provide a great spot to catch a break on your way through. We camped at Forrest County RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

After 8 days at GSP, I must say it's first class. Paved biking/walking trails, super clean shower/bath houses, easy access sites and plenty to do inside the park to keep you busy. Add in free beach and pier access. Plenty of great seafood eating within minutes of the park. Props to GSP for making camping their a great time! We look forward to a return trip! We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Forrest County RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped at Forrest County Park twice within a seven day period. The park is no frills but it provides a great place to overnight. All the hookups worked great. It's a pick your own spot, pay on your way out kinda place. Some sites would require more leveling than others, but all would be serviceable. We would definitely stop here again for an overnight. Plus being in a college town, your choices for eating out are pretty good! We camped at Forrest County RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Catherine State Park, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We just finished a week-long stay. Our site was on the water. Everything worked perfect. Water, sewer, and good reception from our Tailgater satellite antenna. During the summer months, sites not lakeside may have trouble with satellite due to trees. We camped at Lake Catherine State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Catherine State Park, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We camped on a Sun.-Wed. and everything was great. We were in site #46, which is waterfront. The only concern would be for a rig much longer than our 33ft 5th wheel, the pad might be a bit short. From the main road, it breaks off down hill as you back in the site. Full hook ups were within easy reach, although the sewer is at the very rear. All the facilities were clean and appeared kept up. We look forward to a return trip. We camped at Lake Catherine State Park in a Travel Trailer.
