Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Campsites were well maintained and level for the most part. Full hook up with cable (no cable wire - provide your own). Overall size of campground is small, but sites were adequately sized. Very convenient to interstate 95. Very nice, paved entry and roads throughout. Some sites had cement pad. WIFI was very sketchy and one morning they were working on something and the power went off about three times. This campground seems to cater to snowbirds and overnighters.

Small but nice off leash dog park with areas to walk and convenient disposals.

Office staff was nice to the adults, but not so nice to our teenagers when they went to see if there was something we needed in the camp store. They just didn't want to deal with them.

There are NO activities whatsoever for the younger kids that were in the park. The pool was nice but it was too cold for the kids to get in. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Hilton Head, and it was extremely busy on our brief visit. Enjoyed the golf course located within 3 miles (The Lakes).

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was not our first visit, nor our last to Ocean Lakes. We come usually once in the summer and once in the winter (for Beach N Boogie). We love the convenient sites, great rec center, playground areas, camp store, and all the wonderful amenities. Golf carts are everywhere, and if you bring your own, you must register it and show proof of insurance. We don't mind them. Campers of all sizes can fit in their sites and most sites offer a nice, level cement pad. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
