All good except for cable TV. Poor picture on all lower numbered channels, including CBS and Fox News. Cable hookup not near pedestal - separate post near road but office didn't tell us that. Had to call office. Channel lineup in brochure doesn't match actual on most channels.

If you are RVing with your own ATV off road vehicle, this is the place for you. Otherwise, "nothing to see here." Overpriced, all trash cans overflowing, no service other than security guard upon entry. He didn't want to take credit cards "too much effort". Tried to rent an ATV for about $150 1/2 day. Went to club house as directed and found ATV with keys in ignition. Turned over but wouldn't start. Called and got voice mail. Called back after we left. Site was level.

Fine park for overnight. Good 75 channel free cable. Friendly staff. Good laundry. Small (30X30) fenced dog park. Didn't use it but there is a free shuttle to Island View Casino with 8 restaurants. Would return.

One of the nicest parks we have visited in 100,000+ miles of travel to 49 states. It was sumptuous. Big park but everyone friendly and welcoming. Danial escorted us to our back-in site and very professionally guided us in. Later, he noted we did not have a picnic table on our site and, without being asked, delivered one with a back hoe. With surely return.

Fine park except for unreasonable delay in checking in. Had reservation. Arrived about 4PM on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and pulled up to Office. At this point, road is one vehicle wide and two other RVs parked ahead of us. As a result, guests in passenger car behind us also stuck waiting as well as RVer trying to get to front section of park. After about 10 minutes of all vehicles just standing still, I went into office. Owner of a 40' Class A with tow was trying to find a site in which he could fit and the one desk person apparently did not know the length of the various sites. After another several minutes, the Class A owner left to find a site himself. We were next. Staff person could find reservation at first although made by my daughter for two sites side by side and she had checked in day before. Same last name. Then she found reservation but couldn't find site number. I see my daughters configuration form on desk and it clearly noted both site numbers. Not to pick on staff, but I felt sorry for the other vehicles caught in the bottleneck. Layout of road at office could be easily improved. Otherwise would have rated a 10 for the park.

Unique park. Much open area. Didn't do it but horseback riding on site. Appears to be working ranch. Initially all full hooks were full but offered dry camping and wait list. Got last full hookup sit. No cable but 10 on air channels. All good except couldn't get CBS. Tour trolley picks up at campground at 9am but returns a little late (4:30PM). We took a cab back - fare $16.00. Would return.

Fine park. Close to Asheville town and Blue Ridge Parkway.- about 10 miles. Friendly staff. Visit to Biltmore Estate a must - tickets at park office good for two days. Site (F-2) within 1 degree off of level. Would definitely return.

Site too narrow even for resort park. Our motor home 25', one slide. RV placed in opposing positions but not told this at office. Neighbor had plugged into our outlet box. Went to back to office. Asked for escort. Was first told Not Available. Then, after 15 minutes escorted. Staff very unfriendly. Cable TV channel line up in guide given totally wrong. On complaint, got a different one. Would not return. Never comfortable due to closeness of neighbors.

About the nicest KOA we have seen. Staff friendly. Site immaculate. Great view of city. As others noted, site newly leveled.

Fine park. Site was level. Office staffer was very friendly, accommodating and allowed us to get receipt and complete forms next morning so we could get to site and hook up. Cable very good but also good digital broadcast TV. Near stores. Many full-timers but very quite and all with well maintained rigs and sites. Only complaint was that Wi-Fi reception fairly weak. But we were in furthest site from off (No.101). T Mobile worked well. Rate Passport America - 2 nights.

Date of Stay:

On of the best parks we have seen in over 100k miles of RV travel. Rate reflects average 4 nights at premium site with one free night (as first time in park) and KOA value discount.

But for these two issues, this park would rate a 9. 1. Signage to RV Park from highway (southbound) is very poor. When I commented on this to the check-in lady, her response was "I just work here." 2. Although the roads are paved and pads are concrete, our site was not level and auto jacks had to lift one rear tire in air. Otherwise, fine for a casino RV park. Shuttles to the casino were timely. Buffet ($16) was excellent.

I very rarely rate a park as a 10 but this one qualifies. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They arranged a city tour and called us in the MH when the van arrived. Rate reflects Passport America for first night and Good Sam discount for second night. Not quite walking distance to Bourbon Street in the Quarter but quite close. We drove our toad and paid a couple of bucks in a metered spot. A first class park!

Date of Stay:

Somewhat pricey for only 30 amp, no cable, no wireless. Probably justified by proximity to NYC. We tried for Liberty Landing - much closer but they were booked up. Quiet park, big sites. Only problem was that office staff assigned us a site already occupied when we got there. A little tough backing up the 40' motor home on a twisting road to another site that we just took and then reported to office. Also, same staff person was on an apparent personal call when we entered office and was in no rush to get off to register us. Would stay here again if we couldn't get into Liberty Landing but would scout out site with toad before driving motor home to it.

Date of Stay:

Just a fine park. Rate was for a 30amp pull through site without sewer or cable TV. Reflects 10% off for KOA Value Card. Was $7 higher during weekend. Also got a $35 discount for using points from previous KOA visits. A little tight for big rigs (40') but doable. Staff was terrific!!! Only negative: our site somewhat off level, needed blocks under the rear wheels when using auto jacks, to avoid tires in air. Would definitely return.
