North Spokane RV Campground, Spokane, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the park for four nights. Upon check in the staff was very friendly and the check in process was quick and easy. There were three pages of rules that were quickly reviewed and a number of places to initial which I found very different than other parks but harmless. The park is spotless and neat. The wifi was some of the best we have experienced and the log in process was simple. The cable tv signal was strong and worked well. I wish there was more trees within the park. We camped at North Spokane RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Alderwood RV Express, Mead, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

There are new owners here and they are working hard to make this a wonderful park again. There is a new wifi system in place and our wifi connection was excellent. The cable connection was good and will be better soon. The owners have trimmed trees and shrubs and repainted buildings. We were here four days and observed employees working every day. We camped at Alderwood RV Express in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lot to do in Spokane. We attended a professional arena football game and a Gonzaga Baseball Game. We also spent time with family. The Spokane riverfront is fun as well as the Centennial Trail.

Sunset Travel Park, Cottondale, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night. I would describe this park as a layover park. It was very clean and neat. We were parked on a cement pull through. We used the laundry room which was neat and in good working order. I had trouble accessing the wifi and the manager persisted and gave me the entire string of letters and numbers. After that I got in and had the best wifi that I have had anywhere between Alabama and Oregon. I even updated two iphones and my laptop software. I would definitely stop by here again. We camped at Sunset Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

When you first pull in I have to admit it is a bit scarey. I was parked next to a party in an old broken down motor home covered with a blue tarp and one space a way from me as a couple sleeping in the back of a pickup truck under the canopy. But sprinkled in and among the full timers, were nice 5th wheels and then later that night 5 huge motor homes pulled in with their cars in tow. RV parks are truly a melting pot for America and a good experience for me. We slept well to the sound of pouring rain and like most all parks, everyone in the park was friendly. The park offers a valuable service, that being offering a shuttle to downtown New Orleans for $5.00 each way. It only took us 15 minutes to get there and the owners of the park were the drivers. They were very pleasant and offered suggestions on where to eat and what to see. They were very willing to answer questions we had about the hurricane. The owners are very pleasant folks who are working hard to make a living. I wanted to give the park a high rating because of them. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Colonia del Rey RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The service was good, the pool needed some repair, the hot tub was not working, the laundry room was in excellent condition and very clean the restrooms were very clean and general landscaping maintenance was well maintained. There are many full timers here where gives the park a look and feel different from many others. Everyone in the park was friendly and helpful. While the weather was not the best during our stay, we were always comfortable at the park. I needed to repair a tire leak and all services and needed tools were within 10 minutes of the park. I would come back here and stay again but I would not put this park in the "must stay here again" category. We camped at Colonia del Rey RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very neat and well maintained. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. I would best describe the park as a great one night lay over park. Albeit, there were a number of campers who had been there for longer periods of time. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very well maintained. We had a pull through site and arrived after dark. All utilities were conveniently located. The park has trees and grass at every site. RV's park on well groomed gravel pads and a cement patio and picnic table are provided at each site. Swimming pool and hot tub were well maintained and the laundry facility was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

One of the reasons we chose this park was its proximity to downtown San Antonio. In our arrival packet, was information on how to get downtown by bus, cab, or drive. This was very helpful. We rode the bus downtown two days in a row for a $1.20 each (one way) for site seeing activities. After being on the road for nearly a month, this may be the nicest park we have stay at thus far. The next time we return to this area, we will definitely try to stay here again.
