Vines RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

The nicest, cleanest bath facilities I have ever experienced. We stayed after purchasing our brand new motorhome here. The only drawback is it's right off the freeway. Lovely pool. Really nice facilities for a meet up - banquet facilities. And of course there's wine country. We camped at Vines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Kootenai River Campground, Troy, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

I chose this RV park because of the excellent reviews provided. What a super nice family, and yes, the women's bathroom was remodeled and tres chic! Wifi was spotty at the far corner but we moved a little and got wifi, good Verizon, and husband even got his satellite dish to work. We've been on the road long enough that the traffic going by on Hwy 2 is more of a hum than a bother. Dogs loved the river about 1/3 mile away but the current is too strong to swim. And the picnic tables are the best I've seen in any camp! We camped at Kootenai River Campground in a Motorhome.

New Glasgow Highlands, New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This was THE best stay on our so-far 58 day tour. The hosts are amazing, and the grounds are impeccable. Internet reception is spotty, but there's a wonderful Lounge for use by the camp guests, and it has great reception along with a somewhat full kitchen and lots of areas for games and watching tv. We stayed in 18a which was secluded and right next to the playground which was quiet as we were early for the season. A lovely woods walk and a great pond a mile away. We rented a car so we could see the island which seems small but is not. We camped at New Glasgow Highlands in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Charlottetown is loaded with great restaurants. Don't miss new Glasgow Lobster Supper, Sims Corner Steakhouse for some of the best steak on the planet and artisan oysters. The North Cape is fascinating, and believe it or not, The Potato Museum is fascinating, and in light of the province's focus on growing more than 25% of the nation's potatoes, it's well worthwhile to understand their complex industry.

Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

This place was amazing! We stayed right on the water and had plenty of room at our site. SO nice to watch the tides and the amazing sunsets. We had trees on one side so only one neighbor. The staff were really nice and accommodating. There's no sewage connections on the water for obvious reasons, but they supply a 'honey wagon' for a reasonable charge. We were in our Airstream Interstate Grand Tour. We rented a car for the time so we could make our way around the island to places not normally visited by the large number of tourists. We camped at Bar Harbor / Oceanside KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound has the best lobster. Sea Ketch in Southwest Harbor has great views, food and service. Even the guy who serves lobster dinners on site did a great job.
