Rondout Valley Resort Thousand Trails, Accord, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

When we called to make a reservation, we were told that they did not make reservations, so imagine my surprise when we arrived and was asked did we have a reservation. Person who I talked to on the phone was rude. Staff when we arrived was very nice. Spaces are very close together, and most campers are residents. They charge extra for everything, internet, cable, 50 amps. Our site did not have sewage. I would not stay here again. We camped at Rondout Valley Resort Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

Brandywine Creek Campground, Downingtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground, well maintained. Most spaces are filled with full time campers. Very nice and quiet. Road into campground is very narrow and curvy. Difficult turn in into campground. Owner is pleasant and easy to work with. No outside lighting makes it hard to get around at night. Not far from transit, Amtrak. We camped at Brandywine Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Williamsburg Campark (formerly Williamsburg Pottery Campground), Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has seen better days. It is very run down. Only has 8 sites with 50 amp and one of those didn't work. Sites are very close together. No trees at all for the sites with 50 amp. Swimming pool is away from anything else. Laundry is not open. We camped at Williamsburg Campark (formerly Williamsburg Pottery Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

North River Campground, Shawboro, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Road into the camp is really narrow but the camp is worth it. It is beautifully maintained. They have putt putt golf, fishing pond, swimming in lake and in pool, paddle boats, screen in group building, and extra activities. They had a scheduled crab fest scheduled for the weekend that we left. Other events were upcoming. We camped at North River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Myrtle Beach KOA, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Very expensive, if you have children traveling with you, it would probably be a better value, as they have lots of activities for children. Camp was clean and well maintained. Very extensive staff. "ride to beach" is a cart that takes you 3 blocks and lets you out to walk the rest of the distance. The site we were given was hard to back into for our 38' fifth wheel. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Beach is 6 blocks from the camp so not very far to walk. Captain Benjamin's Buffet is wonderful.

This is just an open field that ALL trees have been removed, rock and concrete pads put in. It is hot. The pool area is small but nice. We camped at Bonita Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wichita Falls RV Park, Wichita Falls, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Owners are quite rude, leaving notes on vehicles instead of talking to us. Sites are large, but with their attitude there was no wonder that their were plenty of sites to pick from. Our unused water house was removed from our site without our knowledge or consent. We travel extensively but will not be staying at this campground again. We camped at Wichita Falls RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground, sites are very close together, but all were well maintained. It was nice having a trail to the observation tower from the campground. We camped at Gulpha Gorge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.
