South Llano River RV Park & Resort, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here on our way to California from Port Aransas. Rate reflects Veteran discount. People in office extremely helpful and guided us to our spot. They are doing lots of work for this campground, adding many new campsites. Beautiful setting. Brand new power pedestals, sewer hook ups, and water. Definitely would (and will) stop here again! We camped at South Llano River RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

TranQuil Garden RV Park, Salado, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Somewhat difficult in finding this location due to massive road construction on I-35. We called owner to help get directions again to campground. He was sitting out along road flashing his lights on his golf cart where driveway was located. Good Sam discount (have Passport America, but did not ask about it). Owner very helpful in getting to site. We were 45 feet long towing a car. Got us into B7 which was a little undeveloped for our rig. Parked next to a palm tree touching our front right slide so we're unable to extend slide there. Very good services. Very peaceful and quite. Not sure if we would stay here again only for our size. Smaller units would be great for this campground. Getting out (with our unit was a little challenging) as we were real close to end picnic table. Owner was right out front waving and telling us thanks for stopping in. We camped at TranQuil Garden RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fleming Park/Blue Springs Campground, Blue Springs, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Check in great. This is the 3rd year we have stayed here. Great access to I-470 & I-70. Gated and very secure feel. Great satellite and over the OTA television. Had site 53 which was long enough for our 45 footer, but needed to use several blocks in front to maintain levelness of unit. Wife is handicapped, so it would be nice if had at least a couple longer spots with concrete or asphalt pads as it was difficult for her to push walker thru some of the gravel areas. Good power, water, and sewer hookups. We camped at Fleming Park/Blue Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Bucksaw Campground COE, Clinton, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was great. The camp host's at the gate were most helpful in getting us checked in and situated. We used to camp a lot at Long Shoal, but we now have a bigger coach, hence staying at Bucksaw. Was not aware there were a few full hookups available here, so would definitely try to get one of them the next time there. Had great location at site 39. Great satellite reception. Power and water pressure good. Showers close and very clean for COE campground. We camped at Bucksaw Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The good, close to French Quarter. The gentleman who showed us to our site (and I use the term loosely) was very helpful and a delight to talk to. Even took our tow dolly and parked it back in the back out of the way. There was only one gal in the office at check in and she was trying desperately to keep all who came in helped, but even she seemed frustrated at times. Stayed a total of 10 days (7 of them we were gone on a cruise). Quite the mud hole in overflow and no additional discount for parking in the mud pit. For 10 days we spent as much for camping as we spend for a month in sunny Southern California. I asked why our bill was so high, and the girl in the office said it was because of taxes and the additional fee for some type of cancellation insurance or whatever(which I do not recall being told at time of booking.). Did have electric, a make shift water hose for our water needs but did not drink it because it tasted like rubber. No sewer. Seems that they have you by the short. We had a great time at the French Quarter Festival, but it will be a long time before I will return to this RV campground. I would rather drive a little farther than to be fleeced again. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

Branson Stagecoach Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Check in very fast and efficient. Great location for Branson activities. Nice long concrete pull thru. Good cable and wifi. Our site was nice and clean with good power, water, and sewer hookups. Only negative I saw was when we started to leave. Had people across the lane from us and a tree at the drivers side front of vehicle. We were so long that we had to back out of the site, otherwise would of scraped the entire left side of the coach plus get into other people's parking area. We camped at Branson Stagecoach Campground in a Motorhome.

Cane Creek State Park, Star City, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Great and beautiful state park, Glad we found it. Great setting with all the trees and nearby lake. Roxy helped get us settled into the perfect spot for our 45 ft M/H. Plenty of room for car in front and tow dolly along the side. TV reception was not greatest, but AT&T wifi was 4G LTE most of the time. Asphalt sites, 50 amp service. Good water (taste & pressure). Will definitely put this place on my return list! We camped at Cane Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Austin RV Park North, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Terrible place to find, payed by envelope, graveled sites. Did not use any of the facilities(if there were any). Larger M/H's or TT's beware, somewhat difficult to get into. Only reason we chose this was that we had reservations at the Renissance Hotel and needed a place to keep electric to our fridge. Way overpriced! We camped at Austin RV Park North in a Motorhome.

Pavilion RV Park, West Monroe, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

As another post stated electrical box had no cover; however, power and water pressure were good. Great for overnight stays, easy access from I-20. Fairly long graveled sites where we would not have to disconnect toad. Could of been a little more level in spot 61, but was very close to bathrooms and laundry. Showed they gave military veterans discount, but did not reflect on bill. We camped at Pavilion RV Park in a Motorhome.
