Laughlin / Avi Casino KOA, Laughlin, Nevada

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here before and really liked it. Keep in mind it's a desert park, with lots of sand. But flat parking spaces, if a little tight. BE FOREWARNED, HOWEVER, IF YOU TRAVEL WITH PETS - that the Tribe sells fireworks close by and allows lighting them until 10:00 at night. Our old dog is so sensitive to loud noises; she was so stressed I thought she would stroke out - and we stayed up ALL night with her. They need to make this a prominent announcement in the front of their literature. Too bad, we like this place and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. The casinos nice and food good. Can't stay there next time though. We camped at Laughlin / Avi Casino KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is actually the rate, and a review of, the $15.00 per night parking lot next to the RV park. First, we walked through the RV park and used the showers and restrooms and laundry there. It is a beautiful RV park, right on the bay, and had we planned to be there more than just overnight, we would have stayed there and paid full price. We were only overnighting on our way to a different destination, so the no-hookup parking lot worked just fine. We loved that for a small fee to park there, we could use the facilities next door. The parking area is gravel, and very level. The casino shuttle picks up passengers often. We were pleased. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Carson Valley RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 5 days. The park is neat, clean and quiet. Showers, laundry and pool and spa all located in the casino/hotel next door are available for RV'ers use. The casino and restaurants are very nice and employees extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurants have daily or weekly specials which are excellent values, if you are tired of cooking! Agree the spots are tight for turning a large rig without asking someone to move their parked tow vehicle. That is our ONLY issue. Great park. We will stay here again. We camped at Carson Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

It is a very quick trip up to Lake Tahoe from this location; also Reno, Carson City and Virginia City close by and easy day trips. Park is IN Minden, so grocery stores, etc., close by.
