Joplin KOA, Joplin, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight on migration north as we are snowbirds. This park is a typical KOA, with gravel, but level, pull thru sites with some grass and weeds between sites. Convenient on and off the freeway and would stay here again in the future. We did not unhook the 5er and FHU all worked as it should. We camped at Joplin KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Steel Wheel Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

RV park is in the mountains of the Black Hills but is still big rig friendly. We have a 42' Fifth with a 1 ton TV w/8' box. Had no problem getting up and down and around the curves. WI-FI, water and elec, but no TV. Restaurant, convenience gas station and propane all on premises. It gets cold at nite in the Black Hills but is terrific during the day. Stayed her for 2 nites on migration home from winter in AZ. Very friendly staff. We camped at Steel Wheel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hill's RV Park & Campground, Plankinton, South Dakota

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a 1 night stay, easy access from interstate, with no frills this is the place. WI-FI, FHU, all sites level and big rig friendly. Would rate it higher but no TV (cable or antenna). We stayed here on migration back home after AZ winter. Definitely would stay here again for an overniter. We camped at Hill's RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
