Lincoln Road RV Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and clean CG. Easy entrance and interior roads were easy to navigate. But the pull-through sites are Very Close together. I could hear the TV in the camper next to us while we were in bed trying to go to sleep and they did not have the sound turned up too loud. The sites are just too close for me. I will probable look for another CG if we are ever in this location again. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

State capital building was great and the free tour was very interesting. Museum was great and much larger than I thought it would be. Well worth the time. The Governors mansion was another treasure. The tour was very interesting.

North American RV Park & Yurt Village, Coram, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay to see this area. Wi-fi was ok but kept dropping out at night. Site needed a little leveling but not bad. The pull-through was just big enough for my 38' 5th wheel and truck. Interior roads were tight but manageable. Very little shade within the CG. A little too expensive for me. Will probable look for another CG if in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to stay with plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They worked hard every day mowing and keeping the CG looking great. The hook-up were all within easy reach of my camper and everything worked great. The swimming pool was nice and the hot tub was super. We will stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Custer State Park is huge and you will need at least one full day if not two days to see the park. Go on the "wild life loop" road. we saw many buffalo's, prairie dogs, deer and begging burros. Go on some of the dirt roads that are open to the public. We saw several Elk while on one of these roads. The "Needles" hwy is one that I will not forget. There are a lot of small towns, like Deadwood, Hill City, Spearfish, Keystone, Hot Springs and Custer that you should include.

Hill's RV Park & Campground, Plankinton, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for a temporary layover. Stayed two nights. Easy check-in. Just call owner; if they are not on site, then pay for your site and go find an empty site that you like. Our site was level and long enough for our camper. CG was very close to fuel stop. We would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Hill's RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Great place to stay for a couple of nights. Easy to get around in and easy pull-throughs. A little noise from the highway which is beside of the CG but that is to be expected. We really did not notice it too much when inside of the camper. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hook-ups were within easy reach. We camped at Sharp RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great location for visiting Graceland. Easy pull through sites. Wi-fi was good when it was working but went down several times. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The security was a plus. Sites were close but easy to get in and out of. Roads were very easy for my 39' 5th wheel. Power was good while we were there. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cumberland Mountain State Park, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park to stay at but be careful of some of the sites. All of them are back-in and some of them will force you to back up hills to get into the campsite. It would be great if the campground would put more pictures on their website so that you could be sure that your camper would fit. There are only a few sites with full hook-ups and those go fast. Very hilly interior roads so be careful with large rigs. We camped at Cumberland Mountain State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pride RV Resort, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly check-in staff. Small mistake at first when they sent us to the wrong site. Had to pack back up and move to correct site but was unable to get my camper into site because of tree. But staff quickly found me another site that we could get into. Roads are very narrow for large rv's and camper but manageable if you take your time. Did not understand why we had to pay for on-site amenities (Pool, putt putt golf and others) because we were not going to use them until we found out that we had to pay for them then we did try to use some of them. Site not big enough for my camper and TV together so I had park TV sideways. Good park for short stays and smaller campers. Probable will not return. We camped at Pride RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are too close together. Sites are gravel but road is paved. Was very crowded when we were there. Some noise from interstate. Hook-up are way at the back of the site so you need extra sewer lines and long water hose. Staff very friendly despite being busy. We used the laundry facility but had to remove clothes from washer because someone had left their clothes while they went sight seeing. Will stay again but just for one night only. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tanbark Campground, Dickson, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very close together and we had some problems setting up. I guess that this would be okay for a quick nights stay. But I would rather have larger site. We have a large 5th wheel and it was extremely tight getting our camper into the site and then out the next morning. We do not expect to stay there again. Sites were muddy. We camped at Tanbark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
